I'm from Holland born on a small beautiful island Terschelling. My husband and I and our 2 sons moved to New Zealand in 2008. We live in a great spot in Hawke's Bay together with horses, dogs ,alpacas ,chickens ,cats.....
I started to do leather work while I was in a search for a western saddle for my Clydesdale. I imported vintage western saddles and had to do small repairs sometimes
and sold them again because they didn't fit my Clydesdale. In the mean time I found a saddle for him still
import western saddles when I can find something. All the beautiful carving and tooling of the vintage saddles and the craftsmanship how they are
made inspired me to try things out myself. I self-taught myself through reading and much
practice. I love to create someting together with the customer. I also have a small collection ready to sell items. Please have a look at my pictures to give you an idea what I have already made for other customers etc.
