In store Pick-Ups Available 📦
Yes, we do offer in-store pick-ups, but by appointment only.

We don’t have regular trading hours and don’t keep our full inventory on hand, so please phone ahead before coming in.

Text or emails often do not reach me in real time, so you have to call.

For the smoothest experience, we recommend placing your order in advance and letting us know that you intend to collect it.

This helps us make sure your order is ready and available when you arrive. 😊

Please contact us ahead of time to arrange your pick-up appointment.

When ordering, please include:
• Your name / business name
• Delivery address (and whether it is rural)
• Contact phone number and email
• Product codes or clear descriptions
• Quantities required
• Any timing requirements (e.g. “needed before [date]”)
• Your preferred Mainfreight depot if you regularly collect from one

4. Freight & Delivery
To create efficiencies, reduce costs, and provide secure service, we use the following freight methods:
4.1 Standard Orders – Cartons via Mainfreight
• The majority of orders (especially larger mannequins and forms) are packed in plain, standard cartons and shipped to your nearest Mainfreight depot for collection.
• This keeps freight costs down and helps protect your goods in transit.
• We will advise you of:
• The Mainfreight depot address
• The consignment number
• The date your order is dispatched
You (or your driver) can then collect your order from the depot.
If you require delivery to your door instead of depot collection, please let us know when ordering. Additional charges may apply and may not be available for all locations or oversize cartons.
4.2 Smaller Orders – NZ Post Courier
• Smaller parcels and lighter items are usually sent via NZ Post courier directly to your nominated address.
• Standard delivery is typically 2 to 5 working days from dispatch, depending on your location.
4.3 Freight Charges & Own Couriers
• Freight is charged at cost and itemised on your invoice.
• Rural or remote locations may incur additional charges or longer delivery times.
• If you wish to use your own courier account, please advise when placing your order and provide:
• Courier company
• Account number
• Any specific booking instructions – additional handling and admin fees my apply.
• Please note we do not have a secure pick-up location and the studio is NOT maned everyday - all day.
• For a small fee and by prior arrangement on a case-by-case basis we may be able drop off to your couriers depot. Please call to discuss.

Hazards of Using Bondo. According to manufacturer Safety Data Sheets (SDS), the primary dangers include: V***r Inhalation: Styrene fumes can cause central nervous system depression, leading to headache, dizziness, nausea, and fatigue. Dust Inhalation: Sanding cured Bondo releases microscopic dust particles that irritate the lungs and can lead to long-term respiratory problems like pneumoconiosis. Flammability: Liquid Bondo and its vapors are highly flammable and can ignite easily near open flames, sparks, or heat. Organ damage: Chronic overexposure to styrene can cause damage to the liver, respiratory system, and sensory organs (specifically hearing loss).Carcinogenicity: Styrene is classified as a suspected human carcinogen. Skin and Eye Irritation: Direct contact can cause severe eye irritation, skin redness, and chemical burns.

What Does "Becoming Sensitized" Mean?Becoming sensitized means your body has developed a permanent allergic hypersensitivity to a specific chemical after repeated exposure. It is an immune system response rather than standard localized irritation. The First Exposures: You might use Bondo for months or years with absolutely no reaction, or perhaps just a mild skin itch. The "Tipping Point": Your immune system silently flags the chemical (like styrene or the hardener) as a dangerous foreign invader and builds antibodies against it.The Chronicity: Once this internal switch flips, you are sensitized for life.Subsequent Reactions: Even minute, trace amounts of the chemical—well below safety thresholds—will trigger a sudden, severe allergic reaction.Types of SensitizationSkin Sensitization (Allergic Contact Dermatitis): Causes severe swelling, blistering, itching, and a poison-ivy-like rash anywhere on your body, not just where the chemical touched you.Respiratory Sensitization: Causes occupational asthma. Exposure to the fumes will instantly trigger coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, and severe shortness of breath.
