Page has been abit quiet lately but things have been crazy busy and lots going on in the back ground.

Lots of rescues going on and a few surrenders.
Hes just a wee bit of what's been happening.

We rehomed 4 lads and 110 farm hens to Dunedin a few days after that 56 went to the West coast.
That weekend we took 213 farm hens Blenheim.

Will be doing a big push to get these ladies into their forever homes.
During all this we will be also helping someone with a large number of mixed breed hens looking for homes.

Farm rescue hens update and up coming road trip!

If we can get a full load we will come to Dunedin on the 25th of July.

Out of the 1200 from the farm their is still 750 looking for homes.

We currently are getting close to a full load to Dunedin and after that will go north to Nelson and Motueka

Girls are 18 months and just finishing their first season on the farm
Their is an adoption fee of $10 each.

I have 2 large handsome lads looking for a flock of ladies where they can live out their life protecting the girls.

These boys are gentle natured and settled in well.

They were dumped on the side of the
motorway and made their way to a
preschool.

I presume they are brothers due to them being so well bonded and always together.

Their other brother has a home in Dunedin

Evening all,

I have been contact by a farm needing help finding homes for a large number of hens.

We can do trips north, south and west if we can get a full load. Hens are 18 months old from a free range farm.

Lets spread it far and wide to get all these girls homes

Sorry edit to add their is an adoption fee which covers farm release fee and any treatment hens need. Worming, delicing and anything else required.

Meeting in chch is $7 each
Road trip is $10 each need 100 hens going to homes to do a road trip but can fit up 130 ladies
