Sweet Labrador Roo recently visited us to have a retained deciduous (baby) tooth extracted. Sometimes baby teeth don’t fall out when they should, leaving the adult tooth to erupt alongside it. This can lead to overcrowding, plaque build-up, and dental problems later in life.

Roo was an absolute star patient during her stay with us! 🌟 She was happy and loved all the attention from our team.

Did you know puppies should have lost all of their baby teeth by around 6 months of age. If you notice double teeth or baby teeth that are still present after this age, get in contact for an appointment to talk with one of our vets.

Well done, Roo! We loved having you in hospital and wish you a speedy recovery. 💕🐶
