The sow fairy kindly visited for this litter, with 4 sows and just the one boar. I will be keeping the best of the torti/brindle sows, to breed to a TSW boar for my Tricolour project. The rest will be 👀 for 🏡at the end of the month.

We had a lovely day at the Garden City Cavy Club club-only Show yesterday. I took 6 cavies, my biggest pure-bred show team yet, with it being the first ever outing to a show for 4 of them. I was pleased to get a Best of Breed for 5 of the 6 cavies, and some excellent advice and feedback. Breeds I showed were Self Chocolate, Self DE Cream, Tortoise & White (both crested & non-crested), Rex and Golden Agouti. Now I'm looking forward to the OCC show in Timaru in two weeks time, with lots of grooming work to be done between now and then.
