Introducing Puppy Class at Canine & you.

I’m beyond thrilled to finally share the first video in our brand-new series showcasing some of our training at Canine & you.

First up… Puppy Class held at Forrest Hill Veterinary Clinic

Puppy Class is all about giving you and your puppy the skills, confidence and foundations you need to navigate the world together while making training fun along the way.

I’m also beyond grateful to Emily Frame Portraits for her insane videographer skills and for capturing our class so perfectly! 🎥🧡 She somehow managed to capture all the fun, learning and special moments that happen in class!

A huge thank you to all our wonderful puppy families who helped make this video possible.

If you’ve got a new puppy and want to start their training journey, we’d love to have you join us!

Teach your dog Te Reo Māori! 🧡

This week is Māori language week - Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, so why not teach your dog a few new cues in Te Reo?

Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing some simple Te Reo Māori words you can start using with your dog.

You don’t need to change all your commands and cues at once — pick one maybe and practise it using positive reinforcement, and have fun! 🐶🧡

We absolutely loved puppy preschool with Lynsey!

She is so knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, and we learned so much alongside our pup. She is always happy to help with any challenges you’re facing and never hesitates to answer all of our questions, making us feel supported every step of the way.

The classes were fun, engaging, and gave us the confidence and skills to continue training at home. We’ve already enrolled in Lynsey’s outdoor Real-World classes & we can’t wait to continue our learning with our pup.

We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a positive, rewarding, and supportive training experience!
