Hey everyone ,
We might not be super active on social media but that’s because we are working hard behind the scenes to harvest and create our delish natural snacks . We wish we had the energy to do both the work and the social media but there aren’t enough hours in the day hahaha especially with me at limited capacity . Thank goodness for friends and family who love to forage and help me keep my dream alive to supply only the best to you and your loved ones

BOX OF BUNNIES: UPDATE
Do you remember the box of rabbits that was dumped in a park last December, which our team rescued? There were 3 adult females, 2 adult males, and 1 juvenile male. All had heatstroke, fight wounds, encrusted pooh, and were underweight. They must have been crowded into a small cage for some time before being dumped.
Well, thanks to the SPCA des*xing grant, all 6 rabbits were des*xed and microchipped.
We had each bunny vaccinated, and we've supported their incredible fosterer Ruby (a super woman!) by supplying all of their food, parasite treatments, paying for all vet visits, medicines, etc. Forage NZ donated great post-op treats ( https://www.foragenz.com ) and The Bunny Batch donated rabbit hay ( https://www.bunnybach.nz )
Lily, Luna, Toast, and juvenile Benji (now much more grown up) have been adopted. Each has been successfully paired with a rabbit of the opposite s*x in their new home. We couldn’t be happier with the loving families and wonderful lives they now live.
Mila is still in our care, and looking for a husbun. I’ll post her details tomorrow.
Dear Ollie has had lots of vet visits and surgeries due to his original wounds, and is still in our care while on meds. He’ll be with us until he gets the all clear from exotic specialist vet Dr Kezia at Mt Wellington Carevets. I’m still angry at the mangy humans who caused all of this trauma for these wee souls.
That box of bunnies has cost a small fortune so far, but we don’t regret taking them on. Thank you to those of you who donated to our givealittle last December, which helped defray $910 of the expenses.
