First scrub up for spring, wintered well and ready to head into the season! It’s been a while since I took my ecohorsenz goods off the shelf but even with a quick dash in a setting sun, he turned out 👌🏼👌🏼

If you’re thinking of using him this season via Frozen, please do message me so we can try save on shipping costs for our lovely mare owners. We have semen heading North this month to Auckland, and South to Canterbury come December. Don’t forget, we’re one of few who offer payment on pregnancy + LFG ♥️

He is stamping his progeny with a beautiful active hind end, uphill canter, elastic trot, jumping scope & power & of course, the key to any good breeding, Temperament!

Goodness me, I love my patchy pony 🥰
This was his third jump session with me, and it’s a big ask throwing a baby into the deep end with so much going on, limited jump schooling (due to his baby age of course!) but he settled like an old soul and took it all in his stride, and he’s great to fall off of 😂 Just stands there awaiting you to pick yourself back up and hop on.

Our goal this season is to get him out to the Young Horse Show Jumping at the end of the season once he’s got more experience under his belt (and me learning how to sit his darn jump!), and dabble in some intro classes, and maybe a bout of showing once he’s fit enough ♥️

Having such a willing, easy baby to take out has made the gelding decision a little bitter sweet, but it does allow us to go out and have fun a lot more without the imposed restrictions, and back to PC Grounds for some exposure sessions and ribbon days 🕺🏼

Checks first riding outing to the Sandpit 🥰
So so proud of this kid. After getting a bout of rocket fuel from seeing scary cows (unsure why as he’s been paddocked with them before!) we had a few nice pings and then took him for a round of some solid objects once he settled. By the end of it, flappy flags, solid logs, and squishy sand were just another exposure session. So so good to be able to take the babies out in a lowkey environment; thank you Show Jumping Waitemata for running an awesome open week!

P.s - my soak session was entirely my own fault 😂 Check launched into the water like a badminton pro and I went bye bye 👋🏼
