Puppy Socialisation Guide

Helping your puppy grow into a confident, happy and well adjusted family dog.

A little note from us

The first few months of your puppy’s life are incredibly important. While vaccinations protect your puppy from serious illness, it is also important for them to experience the world during this early stage of development.

Your puppy SHOULD NOT stay inside until they have finished their vaccination course. There are plenty of safe ways to introduce them to people, places, sounds and everyday life while being careful about infectious diseases.

Our goal is simple. Keep your puppy safe while helping them learn that the world is a happy and normal place.

Without positive early socialisation, puppies may be more likely to develop anxiety, fear, reactivity or difficulty managing excitement as they grow, which is why early, positive experiences are so important for raising a calm, confident and well adjusted dog.
