Learning to coexist with other dogs is Cricket's biggest challenge.

She's not thrilled that we have a guest, but she's figured out he's on a lead and she doesn't have to engage with him.

It helps that yellow, male Labradors are her favourite type of dog 😅

Building relationships takes time.

This didn't happen overnight. I didn't have a goal that they would be able to tolerate each other this much.

It took a lot of management, some mistakes that were followed by learning and adjustments.

It's probably never going to be perfect, but I'm pretty happy where things are at. Especially for a highly reactive dog.

Don't rush the process and you may be rewarded with this level of cuteness.

No, we've not switched to The Cat Collab. Cats need training too, though!

Teaching Pete to go in his crate in the hopes that this is one less stressful thing he'll have to deal with for future vet visits.
