September is Assistance Dogs New Zealand Trust’s month, and the challenge has been set to raise $150,000! There is currently a long wait list of awesome young kiwis whose lives would be changed for the better with an assistance dog by their side, but each dog costs $75,000 to breed, raise, and train.

For the last 3 months I have had the absolute privilege of looking after these two gems in my home a couple of days a week. Those days very quickly became my favourites, and having Angelina and Henry keeping me company while I work has been a real joy. Thank you, Dawn, for trusting me to care for your precious pups, and confirming for me that my life absolutely needs a greyhound (or two!) in it! 💕

Yoko is here to help you celebrate Matariki, on behalf of all the ADNZT dogs and humans!

As the stars rise on a new year, we're taking a moment to feel pretty grateful - for an amazing year behind us, and all the hope in the one ahead.

Every wriggly new puppy - like Yoko (and Yvette, sitting nicely in the background 🤭) - is a step towards something big. Every dog in training means a little more independence and joy on the way for a young Kiwi living with disability.

None of it happens without you. Thank you for walking alongside us - we hope you have a warm and restful weekend, and a wonderful year to come. 🐾

I’m so sad to share that my sweet pal, Earl Grey, has passed away. The coolest cat I know. It was a privilege to live in his house (and share the covid lockdowns) with him, the funniest little gentleman. Sending all my love to his family during this awful time 💙🌈
