Over the past few years, we have been discovering the incredible breed named the Boerboel. We have been drawn to the guardian nature, the family bond and functionality of the breed. t in the breed to the next level. We decided we wanted to start one of the first breeding lines of the Boerboels in New Zealand and begun our journey. For the past few months, we have lived and breathed the breed. To the extend we have been dreaming about them at night : )
Through all our research and contact with the very top breeders in the world, we have now started our program and landed our first breeding female. With the second to be arriving over the next couple of months. We have decided to keep our breeding dams from completely separate bloodlines so we can have at least two completely separate genetic lines going in New Zealand to begin with. Firstly, we have the beautiful Koningin Kira who has safely arrived from Sydney. She has been bred by the famous Ataraxia Kennels. Craig Bloom the breeder, was the first person to bring the Boerboels into Australia many years ago. Kira has been bred for functionality and conformity. We are very excited for our first of many to arrive in New Zealand and now be here with us. We have been blown away by her structure and beauty and her incredible temperament. We are beyond thrilled to say the least. Our second female who will be arriving in the coming weeks will be flying in from the beautiful Brisbane. She is coming from the phenomenal Skystorm Kennels. Her amazing breeder Angela de Villiers has been breeding in Australia for quite some time. She is a very intelligent women with an incredible wealth of knowledge of historic Boerboel bloodlines and fantastic contacts with breeders in South Africa. Our new beautiful girl will be named Te Whakaruruhau PapatΕ«Δnuku with a call name of Nuku. Her bloodlines from some of the highest appraised Boerboels in the world. We are absolutely ecstatic to have her come and join us here in NZ and help start this incredible breeding program.
