This is the first split Rec pieds coming from the big Rec pied c**k. All 3 hatched, They are looking to be aright splits, big birds in the hand...but will see how they grow out

Well this wee girl was the best out of the nest from her 2 other siblings.

But hen decided she didn't want her, so now i have to handrear her now. But thankfully I'm hand-rearing others for pets😊 so not much more work.

Really liking this family line, all promising birds

2 sibling CYCR not the greatest fan of these girls. As are quite pinched in, in the head and lacking the directional feather, but will see how they grow out.

Another split rec pied 2024 season chick

Hes abit of a scruffy bird( could to do with molting) but he has some potential for the recessives. Still alot of growing to do, not even a year old yet, hatched later in the season.

This guy came from rec pied × the big opal c**k last season.

He definitely needs more size and a bit more shoulder on him, but he’s got lovely show presence, and that’s something you really can’t train. In my opinion, the nature of the bird matters as much as the looks(to a degree)
His dad was super calm and absolutely oozed show presence! Lovley to see the trait being passed on.
