On May 30th and 31st, Kane (Ciao) participated in the Gent – 59 & 60 Flanders Dog Show. What an amazing show weekend it was! We met many lovely new people, had a great time, and above all, Ciao performed incredibly well. I am beyond proud of him and everything we showed together in the ring.

We are looking back on a very successful weekend with beautiful results:

🏆 2x BOS

I would like to sincerely thank the judges for their wonderful evaluations and the valuable feedback we received. It gives us even more confidence and motivation for the future.

On day 1 we were judged by Gustaaf van den Bosch and on day 2 by Christophe Coppel. Thank you both for your appreciation and evaluation of Ciao.

I would also like to thank our competitors for the friendly and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the weekend. A big thank you to Stana Hruskova, Robert Tygger Brinty, and Meike Steenbergen for the great company and lovely weekend together. A special congratulations to Stana for her beautiful results and winning 2x BOB!

We look back on these two days in Gent with huge smiles and are incredibly proud of what Ciao has shown. On to the next shows! 🐾

On May 16, Ciao (Kane) participated in the Outdoor Zeeland Show, where he achieved an Excellent 1st place in the intermediate class. We are very proud of how he handled the atmosphere of the outdoor show and very happy with the result achieved.

What made this day even more special was seeing Ciao share the ring with his father, a truly beautiful and memorable moment.

What an unforgettable weekend at DOGS & FUN – International Show + Europasieger with Crufts Qualification & Agria Winner Show!

Ciao (Kane) truly made me proud and exceeded all expectations throughout the entire weekend. It was an honour to compete among so many beautiful dogs and talented handlers, and our results made the weekend even more special.

On day one, Kane earned 1st place Excellent in the Intermediate Male Class, a fantastic start to the weekend and a moment that filled me with pride and excitement for the days ahead.
On day two, he once again showed himself beautifully and received 2nd place Excellent in the Intermediate Male Class against strong competition.

And on the final day, the weekend ended in the best possible way when Kane was awarded Best of Breed (BOB)! An unforgettable achievement that I will cherish for a very long time.

Dog shows are about much more than results alone. They are about friendship, passion, teamwork, and creating memories together with people who share the same love for the breed. I therefore also want to express my gratitude to everyone who helped make our weekend so enjoyable, memorable, and successful.

A very special thank you goes to Tanja Van Der Elst for all your support, kindness, encouragement, and friendship throughout the weekend. Your help and positivity truly meant a lot to me.

Ciao (Kane) participated in the Ter Hopstreek dog show in Wieze.
In the intermediate class (male), he received an excellent result: Excellent 1.

We also achieved the Reserve CAC, which will count as a full CAC point — our very first point, which makes it extra special.
Congratulations to Tanja Van Der Elst on her wonderful results, including Best Male and Best in Show of the day with her junior bitch.

I truly enjoyed the day and the lovely people I had the pleasure of connecting with.

On August 16, 2025, Kane and I participated in the Dogshow Rotterdam – All Breeds Show (Outdoor). Kane competed in the junior class, where he received the qualification Excellent and achieved 3rd place. This show felt a bit disappointing for me, as my preparation was not optimal. Nevertheless, it was still a valuable experience for us to be in the ring together and to learn from it for future shows.

We would also like to thank the other participants for the friendly and sporting atmosphere in and around the ring. In our class we shared the ring with Tyron is Perfect For Lieberthof, owned by Liebertiehof Ilona, who achieved 1st place with Reserve CAC, and Tyzzero Breakout Superstar, owned by Robert Tygger Brinty, who achieved 2nd place. Congratulations on these great results and thank you for the enjoyable and sporting ring experience.

Kane and I would also like to thank judge Lois Wilson (GB) for evaluating Kane during this show. In the judge’s report it was noted that Kane has correct head-to-body proportions, is developing nicely for his age, and has an excellent double coat.

On July 19, 2025, Kane and I participated in the Golden Dog Trophy 2025 – Day 1. Kane competed in the junior class, where he received the qualification Excellent and achieved 2nd place. It was another great experience to stand in the ring together and to continue Kane’s development in his show career.

We would also like to thank the other participants for the friendly and sporting atmosphere in and around the ring. In our class we shared the ring with Vanderbilt’s Starry Starry Knight, owned by Tanja van der Elst, who achieved a wonderful 1st place along with Best of Opposite S*x, Best Junior, Junior FCI-CACIB, BOB Junior, and Best Male. Congratulations on these impressive results and thank you for the enjoyable and sporting ring experience.

Kane and I would also like to thank judge Anton Loboychenko (UA) for evaluating Kane during this show. He also gave me some valuable and educational tips, which I greatly appreciate. It is always valuable to present under different judges and gain more experience in the ring.

On May 24th, Kane (Ciao) participated in the Pinkstershow in Arnhem.

Despite his limited experience with outdoor shows, the many distractions, and the extreme heat, he did a very good job. He received an excellent 1st placement and earned a CACIB point.

I am especially very proud of how he presented himself throughout the day and how well he continued to work under these circumstances. 🐾

I would like to thank judge Marie-Josée Melchior Schlechter for the evaluation and the lovely critique.

I would also like to thank Robert Tygger Brinty and Roxanne Luyten-Derogee (A Tail of Ice & Floof) for the pleasant competition and congratulate them on their results.
