Congratulations to us! 🎉🌍

My team and I are proud to share that the GREEN RESTORATION PROJECT has been selected as a 2026 Youth4Climate Global Innovation Awardee under the Climate, Peace and Security category, from 2,200 eligible applications.

The GREEN RESTORATION PROJECT, led by the VET KONECT ANIMAL WELFARE AND SUSTAINABILITY FOUNDATION, aims to restore degraded lands and empower young people, particularly IDP youth, to actively participate in environmental restoration across conflict-affected communities in northeastern Nigeria and, ultimately, Africa.

This recognition is deeply meaningful to me because I have seen and experienced the devastation caused by conflict and environmental degradation.

Today, being part of a journey toward restoring these communities and building a more peaceful, resilient, and climate-friendly environment means so much to me.

With the award support and technical assistance from Youth4Climate, we will be able to strengthen our solution, deepen our impact, and work alongside young climate leaders and innovators from around the world to learn, exchange ideas, and create lasting change.

We’re proud to be part of the 2026 Youth4Climate community and look forward to sharing our progress, lessons, and impact along the way. This is just the beginning.

ZERO RABIES

Together we can. 🐾 Let's unite to vaccinate and protect.

28/09/2026

🐾 RABIES IS PREVENTABLE. PROTECT. VACCINATE. EDUCATE.

Today, on World Rabies Day, we raise awareness about a disease that can affect both animals and people—but can be prevented through responsible pet ownership, vaccination, and early action.

💉 Vaccinate your pets.
🐕 Keep animals safe and properly cared for.
📢 Share the facts and help stop misinformation.
❤️ Protect both animals and communities.

Together, we can work towards a rabies-free future.
