*Title: Heroes in Suit – Celebrating 12 Years of Love and Lifesaving*

Yesterday marked my 12th wedding anniversary—a day I had planned for a joyful family Sunday. The excitement was palpable until a urgent call turned the morning into a series of emergencies.

A client arrived with a 68‑day‑pregnant dog experiencing thick, dark mucus and fainting episodes. An ultrasound confirmed fetal loss, requiring immediate evacuation. While processing that, another client called: a 62‑day‑pregnant bitch needed an emergency C‑section. We moved straight to the theatre, and hours later delivered 12 healthy puppies.

The clinic day concluded at 7 PM, and none of this would have been possible without the incredible teamwork of Dr. Tope Abolarin , Dr. Ayokunu Muritala and Assistant Sunday Udoh. I am deeply grateful for my supportive Husband and wonderful children, who understood the call of duty, and for the family dinner that finally capped the day.

It reminded me that heroes don’t always wear capes—sometimes they wear suits and scrubs.

With the recently confirmed case of rabies outbreak in Ajah. To stay safe, remember:
- Rabies spreads through bites from infected animals, especially dogs 🐕
- It can also spread through saliva, especially if it comes into contact with cuts or wounds 💉
- Vaccinate your pets through licensed veterinarians to protect them and your family 🐾💕

- Avoid contact with stray or unvaccinated animals
- Seek immediate medical care if bitten or exposed
- Report suspicious animal behavior or bites to certified veterinary clinics
