PLANTAIN STALK VALUE CHAIN

It's amazing to know that we have quite alot of Agricultural products we dispose off.
Plantain and banana stalk is a perfect example.

First slide is the most common and sometimes the only thing we use the stalk for, which is as a mulch material for your farm. This helps alot as the moisture in it keeps your soil cool and moist for a long time and adds manure to the soil.

The next slide is using it as a nursery medium. This can not be over emphasized as this keeps the plant moist and also supply it with nutrients.

The next is Fibre. Uganda is already making so much out of this industry as plantain makes very good, biodegradable and ecofriendly fibre which is used in making clothes, paper and lots more.

Other very intriguing use as seen in south India is consumption of the inner stalk. From the last slide, I can only imagine how delicious it taste😋

The juice is also used to treat ulcer and other ailments.

OUR INVESTORS PAID IN FULL

I'm highly pleased to Announce that our investors have been paid and paid in FULL💃💃💃💃.
We had 2 cycles of farm investment last year. Alot of people asked plenty questions but never subscribed.

God gave us few people, who took all the 25 slots we had. We had issues in the first cycle, had to spend more on irrigation, this led to extending the repayment time. Our investors were the best and understood with us and payment was made after a month's extension.
For the second cycle, some investors from first cycle reinvested and we had new people as well. Yesterday, 30th of April, payment was made, amidst the covid-19 Pandemic.

Thank you for trusting us with your money, one even fell on his birthday 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️. We couldn't have done it without you, thank you for your support to this brand.

This Pandemic has shown us in more ways than we can count the importance of the Agribusiness sector.

I have seen alot of people move from selling different things to selling and delivering Food! The rate at which people in the food value chain are cashing out I don't need to mention.

This just goes to further tell us that you can not get it wrong in the Agribusiness value chain if you do your homework right.

Do you need to farm? No
You can settle for a value chain, whether processing or marketing. It is really worth it.

Snail Faeces
Anytime you want to change the soil on your sail pen, empty it in your garden because it is a good form of manure for plants, and totally organic.
Some people get scared when they find earthworms in their pen, asking if it will be harmful to the snails. No it's not, on the contrary, they are best friends.
Snails feed on the faeces of earthworms, earthworms feed on that of snails. Earthworms help in decomposing the mulch material which snails feed on as well.

So next time you see them, let the good old friends be!
