DO RABBITS LOVE FRESH YAM PEELS OR MOIST/DRY YAM PEELS??

Talking about Experiences, they are what makes rabbit farming interesting because they provide convictions that guides rearing, and these convictions works for us in the circumference of our world. In other words, many farmers must grasp experiences, as they differ and when ideas are shared, many can learn to have a better rabbit farm. As to the time that some have ventured into the business, some have been disappointed, dissatisfied, some have found it funny 😂, some have got satisfaction. This is because of the acts and behavior that most rabbits put up relating to surroundings, weather, treatments, seasons, care and lastly feeding.
In view of feeding, I have come to notice that my rabbits prefer moist yam peels to fresh ones. This is because the moist ones have undergone a process called fermentation, since they have been exposed to faint sunlight, air and some drops of water (dews). Looking at the pictures, from the surface they look dry. If you have them, when you cut they are still fresh inwardly but have now produce a savoring odour that smells alcoholic.
This smell is what fascinates them and make them long for it, it also make them consume a lot of water and they turn out to be fresher. This is because water is essential for rabbits growth and they must consume as much as possible.

With this, I think many doubts will be cleared and many are blessed but if you have contradictions, drop them in comment section.

Over the time there have been questions relating to "HOW TO KNOW A PURE BREED?", "WHAT BREED IS THIS?" and many more. These deliberations have caused a lot of confusion and has made some people go haywire in setting up a farm as desired.
So today, Ini's Farm has brought up a short write up on having clarity concerning rabbit breeds.
Just as God created all things, all animals, however we must never fail to acknowledge that there are different kinds attached to an animals specie.
In the case of Rabbits, we have varieties of breeds occuring naturally and also some by laboratory work. But still, they are natural. There are different breeds of rabbit and we have over 200+ of them, even more than that!
For example, we have Dutch, Palomino, New Zealand White & Red & Black, Harlequin and many more. However, these breeds have properties that differ from one another in terms of color, fur formation, age longevity, gestation period and so on. It should be noted that they are all pure breeds with specific names and some of them are only allocated to specific region or area.
However, there have been a lot of misconceptions about naming rabbits based on their breed. You will hear someone say it's "cross dutch or "mixed cottontail" and there's no specificity on breed name.
Products of mixed breeding are actually good and cannot be eradicated from farming but this post is just to clear your doubts about the breeds, don't try giving them complicated names as people might not buy from you. You can keep them as just try giving a simple name for identification.
Their advantage is that they can produce more than one type of breed per litter but disadvantage is that the kits might not be pure o a Breed, they wud have only a property from each parents which makes them mixed.
Try checking these pictures to get what this post means, they are product of a mix breeding, so they are not pure.
Hope this would Help many 🙏😊😊

Good day great farmers!
Sorry we haven't been frequent in posting
The team are currently working to put some things in place to easily satisfy our customers.
Thanks to all who patronise and partner with us
We would briefly discuss the things that are greater risk to a farm business, especially in the rabbit system
MORTALITY has been a great challenge to farmers in the world today
Most farmers invest a lot of money in their business but in the end they don't have anything to show for it.No account, less income e.t.c
We have brought out a way in which farmers(especially the rabbit farmers) can reduce the rate at which their produce die and which in turns becomes a great loss to them
So most farmers ask themselves, WHY DO MY RABBITS DIE ANYHOW AND NOTHING TO SHOW FOR THEIR DEATH??

This is the answer to that question: There is what we call inbreeding in farming
Inbreeding is the act of mating two rabbit of the same family lineage that is they are either siblings or offsprings from different parents. This things we have tried in the farm and it really turned out bad. So if you are a farmer and u face this same challenge, don't panic!.
This is what you do
1.Make sure you don't have rabbits of the same parents, and if you do, make sure you don't mate them together because they won't survive
2.When starting a rabbit farm business, make sure you screen well the lineage of where you get your rabbits from as there are some traits that offsprings can inherit from their parents that can cause a great loss to you
3. Make sure you get your rabbits well fed at all times
Deduce intervals at which u cross the does so they can produce fertile and healthy offsprings that would give you a good sale.
The act of Inbreeding is very harmful to your farm, Try never to involve your rabbits in that.
You can have over 50 kits from inbreeding and to your surprise nothing survives.
So now here is number one at all most things that serves as challenges to your farms.
Thanks to those who read this and learn from it

Hello Great Farmers!
There is this thing that I tried and it has been working for me,so I think sharing this would help some people if not all
Most new farmers really wanna know how it goes in the business so as to become so good in it. So they really need someone to mentor them on that
Well am not disputing the fact that it's good buh i made a saying that "Every farmer is justified by his own faith and risks"
This mean that as a farmer you should be able to take some decisions without the help of anyone or even your Mentor
Well it's not bad to ask about things you don't know but it's really good to take actions by yourself so as to have experience in ur field of farming
Let me cite an example,When I started this rabbit business making enquiry from people is all I do
Some said when u give a pregnant rabbit potato leaves it will abort the pregnancy. So I stood on this knowledge and didn't give them potato leaves
I realized that the moment I started giving them potato leaves in pregnancy, even the bunnies became bigger at birth😂😂😂
So as a farmer learn to take risks and develop the tips that would work well for you in your farm
Don't listen to what people would say,ur rabbits are not big,it's not a pure breed, this and that
Just take measures all by yourself and see that it would work out for good
Thanks for reading this,if this was really helpful pls kindly give a review and share the post
Thanks to you all and God bless
We are open for business!
