Had an incredible evening rounding up this little Dachshund. Charlie got out yesterday evening and is very skittish little girl. She was seen last yesterday in a nearby field but wouldn't come to anyone. The ownes got up super early and walked the field but had no luck so they gave us a call to come out. Luckily Charlie was seen just before we got there in the same field so this gave us a great starting point. We hurried up and got the drone in the air and the first 45 minutes or so we had no luck. The conditions weren't great at first due to the sun but we were still having luck finding squirrels, rabbits and many deer but no Charlie. Then the cloud cover came in and I knew i could absolutely find her then so I went through the area again. The 3rd set of batteries the thermals were prefect. Everything was standing out so I knew if she was in there i would find her. After searching along the creek I came across a heat signal in the logs and I knew something was there but it was in a hole. I kept moving around and checking angles and I finally seen a animal in there with a purple collar and I was so excited i started yelling it's her is her!!! Just couldn't believe it as you could barely see her. Charlie was scared at first when the owners got to her and she took off. The owners followed her through the woods and fields and Charlie did a big loop and made it back to the same field she was seen in before. Charlie got into a prefect spot in the field and you could tell she was tired. So we made one more plan and we surrounded her while she was in a little ditch. We all pintched in at once and this time Charlie gave up and let us get her. It's funny how these pups will just run away by once you get them they are so happy to see you lol. Finding this little 7 pound girl in the hole of the logs is one of the proudest finds I've ever had. Now she is back home with her sister where she belongs.

This handsome boy had been missing for 3 days and 2 wet nights.
Missing in a huge area of Lincolnshire Countryside he had many adventures with the herd of deer and rabbits.
Found tired under a tree and sleeping soundly until he could hear a faint sound of his mums voice. He could then smell her scent. He gets on his back legs just to double check it's not going to eat him before going on to the path.
With a slight hesitation he gets super excited as you can see, even jumping into his mums arms.
A very special moment I indeed ❤️

On my 2 night searches for Coco with full tree canopy I was not satisfied with how I felt about what I was seeing on thermal images and penetrating the heavy foliage… I just did a bunch of night flying testing out some new thermal settings, new maneuvering & searching techniques… I think I just found the gaming changing settings for tackling the canopy… This has been bothering me the past few days and I wanted to get it sorted about before another lost pets life is at stake 🚁📸🌳🦌👍

I have been asked by numerous times if I had found the missing dog a couple months back with our thermal drone. Given the widespread interest in this matter, I figured it appropriate to create and share a video documenting my search, which led to the successful locating the dog at night during the second drone flight. Unfortunately, the owner could not get to her in time that evening,I had to keep a close eye on her till night when the owner was available.
