Allergic Rescuers KL We are a group of friends who rescue, foster, and TNR strays in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are not a shelter.

We are NOT a shelter, just a group of like-minded friends who share a mission to help street cats that we come across in our daily lives. We juggle full-time jobs and family commitments together with our rescue work. As such, we are not at liberty to take on rescue requests from the public. What we CAN do is share information and guide you HOW to help a cat in need. It takes a village to help our

strays, not just a few individuals. YOU can do your part as well :) Imagine how many more stray cats we can help if everyone plays their part.

On this Mother’s Day, we would like to shine the spotlight on Bianca.
Bianca was spotted with her three babies — Myco, Shimeji, and Porcini. She was also the mother of our previous rescue, Crouton. She did an amazing job protecting her babies and keeping them healthy.

Finally, it’s Bianca’s turn to be protected. Our teammate successfully trapped and had her spayed. She was originally meant to be a TNR case but before we could release her, she showed us that she was ready to be indoors, ready to be loved.

She may be shy and timid, but with time, she is slowly adjusting to indoor life in her own way, and starting to show affection and even demanding for food!

Some kittens get adopted almost immediately.

Cocoa still isn’t one of them.

Now 8 months old, he’s slowly growing out of that “tiny kitten” stage everyone rushes for first.

But what people are missing out on is a really special boy.

Cocoa is playful, smart, intelligent, and always curious about what’s happening around him.
He’s the kind of cat that runs up to greet you, wants to be involved in everything, and somehow makes even ordinary moments feel a little happier.

He’s already watched his siblings leave for their homes.

Meanwhile, he’s still waiting.

Not because there’s something missing in him,
but sometimes the cats who stay the longest are simply the ones people haven’t looked closely enough at yet.

Cocoa is healthy, neutered, vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV negative. He would do best in a home with another friendly cat or as a solo cat.

We really believe someone out there is going to love this boy deeply.

Maybe they just haven’t seen him yet.

And while May kittens will always catch the most attention…
these cats are still waiting too.

The older ones.
The overlooked ones.
The ones who have quietly watched others get chosen before them.

Some have been with us for far longer than they should have been.
Not because they aren’t wonderful, but because people keep waiting for something “younger.”

But adult cats come with something special.

What you see is who they already are.
Their personalities are formed.
Their comforts, quirks, energy levels, and affection are already there for you to know and love.

No guessing.
No waiting to see who they become.

Just cats ready to belong now.

Some are calm companions.
Some are playful and cheeky.
Some need patience.
Some will follow you from room to room like they’ve always been yours.
Some love to give hugs.

This May, we hope you’ll look a little longer at the cats who are often passed by.

Because sometimes the best match isn’t the youngest one.

It’s the one still waiting for someone to finally give them a chance.

Snotty has a name that makes people smile before they even meet him. 😄

It suits him, because of the little marking on his nose that looks like, well, you know. But once you spend five minutes with him, you forget about the name entirely and just think about how much you want to bring him home.

He is the kind of cat who fills a space. Confident, calm, and affectionate in the quietest way. 🧡 Chatty when he has something to say, serious about his bird research on the iPad, and fully committed to his window chilling sessions. He plays hard when the mood strikes, and when the day is done, he wants to be near you — not across the room, but properly near you, in the way that makes you feel a little less alone.

He is 6 years old, and he knows exactly who he is. He is ready to share that with someone. 🐾

He is vaccinated, dewormed, and ready.

It’s easy to scroll past another tabby.

They’re everywhere.
They start to look the same (see our feed).

But Oops isn’t just another tabby.

He’s the kind of cat you don’t fully notice at first,
and then slowly realise he’s exactly what you’ve been looking for.

He doesn’t demand attention or compete to be seen.
He simply fits.

Into spaces.
Into routines.
Into homes.

The kind of presence that feels easy,
like he’s always belonged there.

He gets along effortlessly with other cats, carries a calm confidence, and brings a quiet kind of comfort wherever he goes.

At 8 months old, Oops is neutered, vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative.

He would do best in a home with another friendly cat, or with his foster buddy Okra.

He may look like many others at first glance,
but he’s the kind you remember after.

Every cat we rescue deserves their forever home. We always believe there’s a perfect home for each and every one of them out there, we just need to be patient and have faith 🙏🏽❤️

Cinnamon and her sister (Cranberry) and brother (Cocoa) were born in a student’s accommodation. When their mum disappeared one day, the student took care of them until she graduated and had to return to her hometown, after which they came into our care.

We’re so happy to share that Cinnamon has found her forever home with her pawrents, Natasha & partner, and a new brother, Joey! ❤️ She has settled in nicely, she and Joey share the typical sibling relationship of playing one moment and squabbling the next 😂

Thank you, Jaay, for stepping up to take take care of these 3 siblings 🙏🏽 And thanks so much to Eve and Liam for fostering Cinnamon together with her brother, Cocoa ❤️
