We teach your dog how to love water, build confidence, and cool down all from the comfort of your own pool or local beach.

Summer in Baja California Sur can make daytime walks almost impossible. The pavement is scorching, temperatures are extreme, and many dogs spend their lives around swimming pools, beaches, boats, and the Sea of Cortez.

But here's the problem...

Most people believe all dogs naturally know how to swim. They don't.

And just because your dog is afraid of the water doesn't mean they'll always be.

The truth is, most dogs don't hate water—they simply haven't been shown that it's safe, fun, and rewarding. With the right introduction, patience, and guidance, most dogs learn to love swimming.

Before moving to Baja, I owned an indoor canine swimming facility in Canada, where I helped hundreds of dogs build confidence, overcome fear, learn to swim, and develop life-saving water safety skills.

Let's talk dogs and cars and the never ending cleaning that comes with them.
What are your favorite tips or tricks to cut down on the mess...
Or have you just accepted your fate of owning a slobber and sand filled dog mobile?

I always keep my seats folded flat, have a tarp laid flat, then a yoga mat for grip, then a water proof pet cover.
As for the windows... we consider that "nose art"

Yo siempre llevo los asientos traseros abatidos. Primero pongo una lona, encima un tapete de yoga para que no se resbalen y, arriba de eso, una funda impermeable para mascotas.
Y en cuanto a las ventanas... nosotros le llamamos "arte de nariz." 😂

Did you just welcome a new dog into your family?
A lot of people want to give them that "adjustment time".
The truth is, your dog or puppy needs structure from day one.
It sets everyone up for success.

If you don't want them jumping up to greet people, don't allow it from the start.

If you don't want them not listening when you call them, don't let them be off leash until you've created a solid recall.

If you don't want them chewing your things, monitor and supervise them from the start so that they never learn there's a possibility of being successful in unwanted behaviors.

Setting your lives up to be successful is easy from the start.
Remember its harder to undo bad habits.

Have you heard of littermate syndrome?

It often begins with that slightly crazy idea to adopt two puppies from the same litter.

Littermates are naturally very bonded to each other. They are also naturally dogs, which can make it harder for us humans to convince them that we are equally amazing and worth bonding with.

Although raising two puppies at the same time is definitely not ideal, some people are just wild enough to try.

I’m one of them.

One of the most important things you can do for littermates is give each puppy separate, individual time with you.

Play games. Teach them new things. Take them out to experience the world. Feed them separately. Train them individually.

They also need time apart from each other—and sometimes apart from you—so they can learn to cope independently and develop their own confidence.

Having two puppies may be double the fun, but it is critical that each dog forms a strong bond with you, develops healthy self-confidence, and learns how to function without constantly depending on their sibling.
