Another fun sit in Todos Santos… a beautiful traditional Mexican palapa home. Here I met a sweet 17 year old deaf and blind pup named Sophie. She has lots of energy and knew the layout of the property like the back of her paw. Spent many early mornings and evenings on the rooftop terrace- this place was truly a retreat. A vacation from my vacation! Mi gata, Misty, LOVED it here!

Kitty rescue in Baja!
I found two sweet kittens in the beach
Not many people in Mexico even want a cat, much less two kitties… but somehow I (along with an angel from FB) managed to find fantastic adopters within 36 hours for them. The adopters had mentioned to a neighbor they were ready to adopt a cat the night prior. The neighbor had seen my plea in a Baja FB group post… and the 🌟 stars ✨ just aligned.
I could not be more thrilled. The loverboy took me 5 minutes to pet and hold him but it took 5 hours in the hot sun to catch his skittish sissy. Many thanks to the power of social media!

Misty Mountain Cat and I stayed at a very lovely, peaceful retreat up in the mountains of Baja. Of course I couldn’t resist taking the resident dogs on some fantastic hikes. It’s truly paradise- if you find yourself in Cabo or La Paz, I highly recommend coming here!

We’re looking forward to an upcoming sit in Baja in a couple weeks!
