Esta chaparrita de nombre Gingerly fue reportada por vecinos de la col. Ejido quienes se percataron se encontraba abandonada y no podia caminar. Improvisaron una casita y dieron comida y agua durante dias.
Gingerly fue trasladada a una veterinaria una vez se supo del caso. Se encontró sin poder caminar, piel lastimada, severas infecciones y infestada de garrapatas.
Tras la revisión de tres diferentes veterinarios y rayos x de su espalda baja, se determino que se encontraba paralizada de la parte inferior de la espalda, infección urinaria y una herida severa por el hecho de no poder caminar.
Despues de un buen baño para garrapatas, y la buena revisión medica por parte de la Dra. Valeria de Medivet, Gingerly fue diagnosticada con un problema neurologico. Un curso de sesiones de rehabilitación y antibioticos para combatir las infecciones fueron prescritos para su recuperación.
En estos dias, Gingerly se esta recuperando positivamente. Esta tomando terapias de rehabilitación y se diseño una silla de rueda de acuerdo a su necesidad, la cual ayudado en sus terapias.
Siendo un caso especial, Gingerly no puede ir a un albergue. Desde su rescate a pasado los dias en una hogar temporal donde a recibido los cuidados necesarios. Todos sus gastos medicos estan siendo pagados por medio de donaciones. Por el momento esta siendo cuidada por una pareja de rescatistas independientes. De acuerdo a su reporte las infecciones externas están sanando rapidamente, la infección de la vejiga se ha ido y ella está recuperando poco a poco sensibilidad de sus piernas traseras nuevamente. Hay una fuerte posibilidad de que ella pueda caminar de nuevo, si se le da el debido cuidado y atención que merece.

This little angel of name Gingerly was reported abandoned and unable to walk by local people who provided water and food for some days. After the report was received she was taken immediately to get medical assistance. She was found with a severe wound from crawling, infections, and infested with ticks.
After investigation from tree different vets and x- ray of her spine it was determined that she was suffering from bladder infection, paralysis from her rear legs brought on by the infections, and a severe wound cause by lying in her own waste and dragging her paralyzed rear legs.
After a good flee bath, and a good medical checkup by Dr. Valeria from clinic Medivet, Gingerly was diagnosed with neurological problems that affected her lower back. A course of rehabilitation and a variety of medications were prescribed.
These days Gingerly is recovering positively. She´s been going trough rehabilitation and her wounds have being healing. A wheelchair was designed properly to her need which has helped her in her rehab sessions.
Shelters due to her condition have not been able to receive her. Gingerly has spent her days in a foster home where she has received her medical treatment. All her expenses are being paid through donations and for now she is being taking care of by independent rescuers. It seems her outer infections have cleared, her bladder infection has gone and she is slowly regaining control of her rear legs again. There is a strong possibility that she may walk again if she is given the proper care and attention.
