🥹🤍 🍭MEET LEA — OUR LITTLE WHITE BEAUTY 🍭🤍🥹

How can a tiny girl like this understand why the family she trusted suddenly decided they didn't want her anymore? 💔

Lea is only 1.5 years old.
She didn't do anything wrong.
She didn't stop loving.
She didn't stop being loyal.
She didn't stop waiting.
She was simply surrendered by the people she thought were her family. 😭💔
And now this little white cloud is left wondering where she belongs.

☁️🤍 But despite everything, Lea is still incredibly sweet.
She still wants to be close to people.
She still loves cuddles.
She still gives kisses.
She still trusts.
She still has so much love to give. 🥹❤️

For more than a week, this beautiful boy has been roaming the town centre of a small town in the north. 💔
Day after day, people send us messages.

📩 "He is so scared."
📩 "He is running in traffic."
📩 "He will get killed."
And they are right. 😭
This boy is terrified.
He does not trust people.
He runs away from everyone.
He is exhausted, hungry and completely alone.
Every day he survives is another day closer to tragedy. 🚗☠️💔

Mika is now 1 year old.
She lives in a neighbourhood where almost all of her dog friends have disappeared.
Some were poisoned.
Some died.
Some simply never came back.

💔😭 ALMOST 9 YEARS IN THE SHELTER... WHY NOT DORIS? 😭💔

🚨 Her sister has been living the best life in the UK for almost 5 years.
And Doris?
She is still here.
Still waiting.
Still watching other dogs leave.
Still hoping that one day somebody will choose her. 💔

🚨💔 OUR DOGS ARE HUNGRY 💔🚨

Today, for the first time in a very long time, we had almost nothing to feed our dogs. 😭
Hundreds of rescued dogs waited for breakfast this morning, wagging their tails and looking at us with complete trust. They don't know about debts. They don't know about unpaid invoices. They only know they are hungry. 💔🐾

Today we had to give them macaroni and some leftover bread and pastries kindly donated by a local bakery because our food supplier refused to deliver any more food.
Not because the dogs don't need it.
Not because they don't deserve it.
But because our food debt has become too high. 😭
We stood there with empty storage areas and broken hearts, trying to find anything we could to fill their stomachs.
These dogs have already suffered enough.

💔 They have known hunger.
💔 They have known abandonment.
💔 They have known neglect and abuse.
💔 Many were rescued from the streets.
💔 Many were saved from public shelters just before it was too late.
When we rescued them, we promised they would never be hungry again.
Today we are struggling to keep that promise. 😭

We saved Cooper… and in a way, Cooper saved himself. 🐾😭
A few weeks ago, he simply jumped into our car.
He chose us. He trusted us. He was asking us to save him.
We searched and finally found his owner.
But the owner doesn't want him back.
So here we are… with Cooper standing in front of us, and with nowhere else to turn. 💔
Today, Cooper is positive for Leishmania and urgently needs treatment and further testing.

We have to buy it abroad because we cannot get it here.

Yes of course. Winter is coming and you are all welcome to volunteer when you need our dogs the most.

🙏🏼🐾 PLEASE READ BEFORE MESSAGING 🐾🙏🏼
No intention to offend anyone, but please bear in mind that we are only volunteers with regular jobs doing this in our free time while taking care of over 400 dogs in our shelter and 100+ more in foster homes, kennels, pet hotels, quarantine and on the streets.
Our adoption process is actually very simple if you just READ CAREFULLY our posts and messages. 🫶🏼
Sometimes we receive very long lists of questions which are already answered on our page, in the adoption post, photos, videos and adopter updates.
For example:
❓"Is the dog healthy?"
Why would we send an unhealthy dog abroad? 🤦🏻‍♀️
Which vet would allow it?
Which authority would issue a health certificate for a sick dog?
It simply makes no sense. 🧠
❓"Will the dog need quarantine in the UK?"
Never ever. Our dogs complete quarantine and veterinary procedures here before they travel. Please stop confusing quarantine in North Macedonia with quarantine in the UK.
❓"Where exactly is the dog staying?"
Our dogs are protected and safe. Why would we give the exact location of a dog to a complete stranger who has not even filled in an application form?
❓"Can I have itemised invoices?"
We are a rescue, not a company selling products. We rescue, treat, feed and care for animals that nobody else wants.
❓"Can I have the transport company details?"
If you scroll through our page you will see countless transport updates, photos and videos from the transport van and drivers.
❓"Can I have the dog's full medical history and microchip details?"
At this stage? 🤦🏻‍♀️
Would you send us your birth certificate before introducing yourself?
❓"Can I speak to previous adopters?"
Again, please scroll through our page. There are years of adopter updates, photos, comments and recommendations from families who adopted from us.
❓"Can I see the adoption contract?"
The adoption contract is provided to approved adopters after the application and home check process.
❓"Is the dog good with children and cats?"

After all these messages, questions, explanations and hours of volunteer time...
❓What if at the very end you tell us your children are under 7 years old and have never been around a dog?
