You were only our foster, but in such a short time, you became a little part of our hearts. We loved you, cared for you, and hoped for a beautiful future for you.

We wish we could have given you more time and predict the outcome.

Our second Berlin reunion… and our hearts are overflowing. ❤️🐾

Seeing so many of our Ohrid dogs together again—dogs who were adopted over the years and are now thriving with their incredible families—is a feeling that’s impossible to put into words.

Every wagging tail, every happy face, and every cuddle is a reminder of why we started this mission. These beautiful dogs once came from difficult circumstances in Ohrid. Some were frightened, some were sick or abandoned, but every one of them deserved a chance.

Today, they are healthy, confident, deeply loved, and living the lives we always dreamed they would have.

Our second reunion wasn’t just about seeing the dogs again—it was about celebrating every life that has been changed. It reminded us that all the hard work, heartbreak, long days, and sleepless nights have been worth it.

To all our adopters: thank you for believing in these dogs and giving them the love they always deserved. You are part of every happy ending, and seeing you all together is the greatest reward we could ask for.

Here’s to many more reunions and many more rescue stories with happy endings. 💛🐶

Happy update! ❤️🐾
We have some wonderful news about this sweet girl!
She has officially found a foster home thanks to the amazing cat ladies from Switzerland who have been supporting us every step of the way. 🇨🇭❤️ We honestly can’t thank them enough. They are always there for us and for the cats and dogs we try to help, offering advice, encouragement, and practical support whenever we need it.
A huge thank you also goes to the wonderful lady in North Macedonia who cared for her for the last more than two months, keeping her safe, loved, and giving her the chance of a better life. Without her kindness and patience, this happy ending wouldn’t have been possible. ❤️
Not only have our Swiss friends opened their hearts to this little girl, but they have also gave us food, leashes, toys, treats, and other supplies that we’ll be sending to North Macedonia to help make the lives of many street cats and dogs a little brighter. 🐶🐱
This sweet girl no longer has to worry about surviving on the streets or searching for someone to let her inside. She is safe, loved, and has a chance at the happy life she deserves. 🥹❤️

This sweet girl showed up where my mom feeds another cat (the one donations helped us sterilize her), and… she decided to stay 🙄❤️

For over a month, she followed my mom to the building every day, crying outside the door, trying to come inside.

We waited to make sure she wasn’t just passing through, and a month ago my mom took her to the vet for everything: sterilization, blood work, tests, vaccines, deworming, cleaning — the full package.

She is around 2 years old, healthy, and negative for FIV/FeLV. She’s also sterilized, vaccinated, dewormed, and fully checked by the vet.

And personality-wise? She is an absolute sweetheart 🥹
Very, very friendly with people, loves attention, sleeps on top of you, makes biscuits with her paws, and just wants love.

She’s currently around two dogs. She’s a bit reserved with one because she tried to chase her at first, but she has no issues with the other dog.
With the outdoor cat, she only hissed when the other cat came near her food.
Our neighbors started complaining because she tries to go inside people’s homes, and she can’t go back to the street.

Now we had her for a month, but we don’t have a long-term solution yet.

We truly think she had a home before because of how friendly and comfortable she is with people, but no one has come looking for her 💔

The vet care cost around 100€, so if anyone would like to help us cover some of the costs, we’d be incredibly grateful.

We may have a foster lined up, so we’re hopeful 🤞❤️

We saved her from having kittens — and saving one cat can mean saving many lives.

🐾 Update on our Cane Corso girl ❤️
We are happy to share that she is doing well — slowly gaining weight, getting stronger, and showing her true personality: gentle, affectionate, and full of love. ❤️
It’s hard to believe this is the same dog who was once abandoned, used for puppies, and left alone on the streets of Macedonia — scared, hungry, and in pain. Even after being adopted, she was abandoned again.
💔 She is still fighting serious conditions:
• Hip dysplasia
• Arthritis
• And life-threatening heartworms that have been damaging her heart
She has already started treatment, and every small improvement means so much. But her journey is far from over.
💸 We are still missing funds for her ongoing care, and another vet visit is just around the corner.
Without continued treatment, her progress could quickly be at risk — and the heartworms will continue to harm her.
🙏 Please help us continue fighting for her.
