පාරේ අනාථ වෙලා හිටපු මේ පොඩි කොල්ලා අද යුනිවසිටි ගිහින් Degree එකකුත් අරන්! 🥺🎓

නයිජීරියාවේ (Nigeria) මහ පාරක ජීවත් වෙන්න ලොකු සටනක් දීපු මේ පොඩි කොල්ලගේ ජීවිතය සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම වෙනස් වෙන්නේ බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය ජාතික කාන්තාවක් ඇවිත් එයාව බේරගත්තට පස්සේ. ඇය කරපු ඒ උදව්ව මේ දරුවාගේ ජීවිතේට ඇත්තටම හිතාගන්න බැරි තරම් ලස්සන හැරවුමක් ගෙනාවා! ❤️🇬🇧

⭕ ජපානයේ 🇯🇵 පිහිටා ඇති "කැට් අයිලන්ඩ්" ලෙස හැඳින්වෙන ටෂිරෝජිමා දූපත, බළලුන් සිය ගණනක් සඳහා කීර්තියක් අත්කර ගත් සැබෑ ස්ථානයකි. මුලදී, මෙම බළලුන් දිවයිනේ මීයන් පාලනය කිරීම සඳහා හඳුන්වා දෙන ලද අතර එය එහි දේශීය ඉතිහාසයේ වැදගත් අංගයක් බවට පත් විය. කාලයාගේ ඇවෑමෙන්, බළලුන් සරලව ප්‍රයෝජනවත් නොවී සැබෑ සංචාරක ආකර්ෂණයක් බවට පත් විය. ❤️😍🔥

For days, neighbors along one quiet street woke up to the same mystery, missing slippers, sandals, and shoes left outside their homes. Frustration slowly grew as everyone wondered who could be taking them.

Then one morning, someone finally spotted the “culprit”, a stray dog trotting quickly down the road, carrying a shoe gently in its mouth. Curious instead of angry, a few residents decided to quietly follow her.

Hidden in a small corner between two walls, they found something no one expected. Carefully arranged in a little circle was a pile of shoes, and nestled safely in the middle were tiny puppies sleeping soundly. The stray mama dog had been gathering soft things, one shoe at a time, to keep her babies warm through the cold nights.

What first looked like stealing suddenly felt different. She wasn’t taking out of cruelty she was simply doing her best as a mother, loving her little ones the only way she knew how.

Because a mother’s love finds warmth for her babies… even in the most unexpected ways.

ලොව සුඛෝපභෝගීතම මෝටර් රථය ලෙස සැලකෙන Rolls Royce රථයක් තෑගි ලැබුණොත් එය එපා කියන මිනිසෙකු මේ ලෝකයේ සිටිය හැකිද?
බොහෝ දෙනෙකුට එය හීනයක් වුවත් එක් නිහතමානී ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයෙක් එම රාජකීය තෑග්ග ඉතා කාරුණිකව ප්‍රතික්ෂේප කළේය.
ඔහු වෙනුවෙන් නොව තම රටේ අනාගත දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් ඔහු කළ ඒ කැපකිරීමේ කතාව අදටත් පේරාදෙණිය සරසවියේ ඉංජිනේරු පීඨයේ නිහඬව ජීවමාන වී තිබේ. ඔහු නමින් මහාචාර්ය එස්. මහලිංගම්

කතාව ඇරඹෙන්නේ 1950 දශකයේදීය. එවකට බ්‍රිතාන්‍යයේ ප්‍රබලතම අවියක් වූ 'Avro Vulcan' බෝම්බ හෙලන යානා එන්ජින් පණගැන්වීමේදී දරුණු කම්පනයකට (Torsional Vibration) ලක්විය. මෙය කෙතරම් භයානකද යත් ඕනෑම මොහොතක ගුවනේදී එන්ජිම කැබලි වී යා හැකි මට්ටමේ තාක්ෂණික දෝෂයක් විය. බ්‍රිතාන්‍යයේ දක්ෂතම ඉංජිනේරුවන්ට පවා මෙය විසඳා ගැනීමට නොහැකි විය.

එවකට එංගලන්තයේ ෂෙෆීල්ඩ් විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ පර්යේෂණ කරමින් සිටි තරුණ ආචාර්ය මහලිංගම් මහතාට මේ ගැටලුව ඉදිරිපත් කෙරිණි. කම්පන න්‍යාය (Vibration Theory) පිළිබඳ අසමසම දැනුමක් තිබූ ඔහු ඉතා කෙටි කලකින් ගණිතමය විසඳුමක් ඉදිරිපත් කරමින් එම ගැටලුව මුළුමනින්ම නිරාකරණය කළේය. බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය ගුවන් හමුදාවත් නිෂ්පාදක සමාගමත් මවිතයට පත් විය.

ඔහුගේ මේ සුවිශේෂී දක්ෂතාවය අගය කළ Avro සමාගම ඔහුට කැමති ඕනෑම තෑග්ගක් ඉල්ලන ලෙස දන්වා සිටියේය. 1950 දශකයේදී රෝල්ස් රොයිස් රථයක් යනු ලොව ඕනෑම කෙනෙකුට ලැබිය හැකි ඉහළම ගෞරවයකි. නමුත් ඔහු ඉල්ලුවේ තමාට සැප විඳීමට මෝටර් රථයක් නොවේ.

"මට පෞද්ගලිකව තෑගි අවශ්‍ය නැහැ. හැබැයි පුළුවන් නම් මම මේ අලුත්වැඩියා කරපු ජෙට් එන්ජිමෙන් එකක් මගේ රටේ පේරාදෙණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ දරුවන්ට ඉගෙන ගන්න ලබා දෙන්න"

එම ජෙට් එන්ජිමේ වටිනාකම එකල රෝල්ස් රොයිස් මෝටර් රථ දහයකටත් වඩා වැඩි විය. එහෙත් ඔහුගේ උතුම් අභිප්‍රාය හමුවේ බ්‍රිතාන්‍යයන් මවිත විය. අවසානයේ ඔවුන් එම දැවැන්ත ජෙට් එන්ජිම ලංකාවට එවීමට පියවර ගත්තේය.

අදටත් ඔබ පේරාදෙණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ ඉංජිනේරු පීඨයට ඇතුළු වන්නේ නම් එහි ප්‍රදර්ශනය කර ඇති ඒ දැවැන්ත ජෙට් එන්ජිම දැකගත හැකිය. එය හුදු යන්ත්‍රයක් නොව යටත් විජිත මානසිකත්වයෙන් මිදී තම රටේ අනාගත පරපුරේ දැනුම වෙනුවෙන් පෞද්ගලික සැප සම්පත් පසෙක ලෑ උතුම් මිනිසෙකුගේ ස්මාරකයකි.

2015 වසරේදී වයස අවුරුදු 89 දී අභාවප්‍රාප්ත වන තෙක්ම ඔහු ඉතා සරල ජීවිතයක් ගත කළේය. යාපනයේ අලවෙඩ්ඩි ග්‍රාමයේ උපන් ඔහු වසර 40කට අධික කාලයක් පේරාදෙණිය සරසවියේ සේවය කරමින් දහස් ගණන් ඉංජිනේරුවන් බිහි කළේය.

අද බොහෝ දෙනා තමන්ට ලැබෙන වරප්‍රසාද හඹා යද්දී මහාචාර්ය මහලිංගම් මහතා අපට කියා දුන්නේ සැබෑ ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨත්වය යනු ඔබ අත්පත් කරගන්නා දේ නොව ඔබ අන් අයට දායාද කරන දේ බවයි.

ඔහු එදා ජෙට් එන්ජිමක් ඉල්ලා සිටියේය. නමුත් ඔහු ඇත්ත වශයෙන්ම ඉල්ලා සිටියේ මේ රටේ අනාගතයයි
