Numama/Ikego Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Caring for the four-legged good boys and good girls of the Numama and Ikego neighborhoods. Hey there!

I'm Faith, an independent pet-sitter and dog-walker based in the Numama neighborhood. I have over a decade of experience petsitting and dogwalking around the world. I love all animals that woof and meow, but I have a particularly soft spot for giant dogs, such as Great Danes and Newfoundlands, and nakeys (Sphynx cats). Our pets are family, so I treat them as I would treat your (human) sons and daughters. You should be aware that pet services are a freelance job for me and I am not currently insured. USD cash is strongly preferred, but I also accept PayPal and JPY cash.

Y'all, is that FALL I feel in the air!? It's been a hot minute since I last posted, oops. Things have been mad busy, and I'm also about to disappear for most of October, I'm stressed about it. I love being home all cozy but such is life!

I don't know about y'all but I'm over this heat and humidity. I'm literally seeing "feels like 115" these days..! These days, we're up at 5am and finished walking dogs by 7am because summer. Phew. I forget what it is to sleep in, but I'm actually kind of enjoying this early to rise thing!? Anywho, I've already started loading availability (or not) for 2027 but for the nearer future, I will unfortunately away almost all of October.

I'm a sports event professional! I support pre-/on-site/post operations and production for a wide range of sports events like Spartan Race, HYROX, Honolulu Marathon, Kujukuri Triathlon, etc. I also provide language and logistics support for the Tokyo Marathon, a professional cycling team, and several triathlons around Japan. In the past, I served on the Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games as an Athlete Services Supervisor for road & track cycling.

Part 1 of 2: Things Faith Does When She's Not Looking After Your Pets

I'm a triathlete! This past April, I went to Taiwan to participate in my third time at the Ironman distance, where you swim 3.8k (2.4 miles), bike 180k (112 miles), and then run a marathon (42.2k or 26.2 miles). I truly believe all the dog walks helped me to a 3:35 marathon and a shiny new personal best at this distance 🏊‍♀️🚵‍♀️🏃‍♀️

📌 DESCRIPTIONS
✨ Walk for One Dog ($15)
・For an outdoor walk of approximately 30 to 45 minutes, followed by indoor play or pat pat time (weather and dog-dependent)
・If a dog cannot walk for long due to seniority or physical constraints, time will be spent enjoying the outdoors
・All walks are tracked by GPS and can be viewed by request
・Walks include time to leash, unleash, clean up, etc.
・Price is for ONE dog, regardless of size
・From July through September, walks between 0900 to 1600 are generally not recommended

✨ Drop Ins ($10)
・Drop ins are 30-minute house visits for up to two animals
・Drop ins include one meal feed, basic pet-related clean up (if necessary) and for cats, a litter check
・Pets can also be let out into a yard and herded back inside, or taken out for a quick potty walk (10-15 minutes)
・Drop ins are morning, afternoon, or evening, i.e. $20 for two drop-ins and $30 for three drop ins.

✨ Walk for Two Dogs ($20)
・Price is for TWO small to medium-sized dogs simultaneously - please note the walker reserves the right to assess suitability and safety for walking two dogs at the same time
・Price is for an outdoor walk of approximately 30-45 minutes, followed by indoor play or pat pat time (weather and dog-dependent)

✨ Extended Services (longer than 3 weeks) (from $150/week; negotiable)
Out of town for a while? If it's 22 days or longer, consider Extended Services (for one or more dogs):
・Up to 90 minutes per day for your dog
・Split the 90 minutes as 2x per day or 3x per day - a combination of drop-ins and walks
・For one dog: $140 per week
・For each additional dog: add $30 per week
・Add one cat: free. Two or more cats for discussion.
・Overnights for longer than three weeks are open for negotiation
