This is Rescue. 💔

💔🌈The last few days we have been trying to process what was done to Lazarus. The suffering he endured did not happen overnight. It was months of neglect, pain, and cruelty.

Just as he began his fight in the hospital, the news came that he had tested positive for leptospirosis. The odds were already stacked against him, and this devastating diagnosis made his battle even harder.

Despite everything, the veterinary team refused to give up on him. They fought for him with everything they had.

But Lazarus’s body had simply endured too much.

He passed on his own. The doctors tried to bring him back, but his body just couldn’t fight anymore.

When Dr. Walker called, his voice was heavy. He kept repeating the same words over and over:

“We tried. We tried. We did everything we could.”

In that one sentence, you could feel the heartbreak of an entire hospital. A team of doctors and nurses who were rooting for him. A community that was praying for him.

Today is a sad day.

Our hearts are shattered.

We love you, Lazarus.
You mattered. Always.
