Since yesterday, only ₹3,351 has been raised for May, while the shelter is facing an extremely urgent shortage of food and medicines. Daily treatments, rescues, and medical care cannot stop, and our staff salaries are already delayed this month.
Every single day, injured and helpless animals depend on us for survival, but right now we are struggling to arrange even the basic necessities for them. Food stock is running low, medicines are almost finished, and pending expenses are increasing continuously.

Update on fundraiser for May 🙏
Since yesterday, we have been able to raise only ₹351. We urgently need to arrange the entire month’s expenses. Medicines are completely finished, food stock is about to end, and staff salaries are already delayed this month.
If we fail to raise funds in time, our rescued babies may not get their medicines. We cannot leave them hungry either. Every single day at the shelter depends on support from kind people like you.

As many of you know, our shelter is the only dedicated animal shelter in Haridwar handling critical rescue cases every single day. Every month, it takes around ₹5–6 lakhs just to keep the shelter running and ensure these innocent lives continue receiving care and safety.
This includes:
🐾 Vet bills and emergency treatments
🐾 Food for cows, horses, dogs, and cats
🐾 Wood and supplies for preparing meals
🐾 Petrol and vehicle expenses for rescues
🐾 Medicines and medical supplies
🐾 Salaries for the staff who work tirelessly for these animals
🐾 Cleaning supplies, electricity, and water expenses
This month has been extremely difficult for us. We have still not been able to stock enough food for the shelter. The food is about to finish, medicines are almost completely over, and our treatment bills are pending. Every single day, the minimum treatment expense alone reaches around ₹6,000–7,000.
Despite all the struggles, rescues are not stopping. Sick, injured, abandoned, and voiceless animals continue to reach us every day, looking for help and survival. We cannot turn them away. But right now, we truly need your support to continue saving lives.

We received information about this baby very late… by the time we reached, he was lying unconscious, his tiny body being eaten by maggots while he was still alive. It was a heartbreaking sight no one should ever have to witness.
Without wasting a single moment, we rushed him to the shelter late at night and gave him immediate first aid. The next day, he was taken to the vet for further treatment. Right now, he is fighting for his life… and we are doing everything we can to save him.
But with continuous rescues and regular treatments, our veterinary bills are once again piling up. Daily visits, blood tests, medicines — everything is ongoing and essential for his survival. On top of that, food supplies for all our babies are almost खत्म, and we are struggling to manage both treatment and feeding.
We cannot do this alone.
We need your support — urgently.

Urgent funds required
We received a call about a helpless baby who had been shot…
For three long days, he lay in a drain—injured, soaked in rain, crying in pain… waiting for someone to care.
By the time we reached him, his condition was heartbreaking.
Weak, wounded, and fighting for his life. His blood reports came back critical, and his leg was in a very bad state… but we couldn’t give up on him.
We immediately started his treatment, and today… he underwent surgery.
Another life holding on, another battle we are fighting with everything we have.
These days, due to lack of manpower and an overwhelming number of rescues, we are unable to post regularly… but behind the scenes, the work never stops.
In just the past few days, we have already done 5 surgeries. Treatments are happening every single day. Every life matters, and we are trying to save as many as we can.
But right now, we are struggling…
Funds are running critically low, and even food supplies are about to end.
We cannot do this alone.
We urgently need your support to continue this seva… to keep fighting for those who cannot speak.

A few days ago, we made an appeal to help us protect our babies from the extreme heat. The temperatures are unbearable—tin roofs are scorching, and despite having coolers, many of our animals still prefer sitting outside on the soil just to find some relief.
With your support, we have managed to arrange green shade sheets and one fogger so far. This has already made a small but meaningful difference. But the fight against this heat is not over yet.
We still urgently need to build a proper pool and arrange at least 5 more foggers so these voiceless souls can get some real relief from the burning temperatures.

This heat is becoming unbearable… the tin roofs are burning like fire, coolers have stopped working, and the temperature inside the shelter is rising with every passing hour.
Our babies… the ones who have already suffered so much… are now silently struggling in this extreme heat. They cannot speak, but their heavy breathing, their tired eyes, and their restless bodies say it all.
We are doing everything we can… but it’s not enough.
To protect them, we urgently need to cover the entire shelter with green shade sheets so the heat can be reduced. We also need a small swimming pool so the dogs can cool down and survive these scorching days… and foggers for the cows, so they don’t collapse under this unbearable heat.
This is not a luxury… this is survival.
