Here is a tip on how can you calculate Carbon footprint of your car
The simplest way to calculate tailpipe emissions of CO2 is to measure fuel consumption. Just add your fuel bills each period to see how much CO2 you have produced. Burning a litre of diesel produces around 2.62 kgs of carbon dioxide, whereas petrol has a lower carbon content and produces about 2.39 kgs.

Soil carbon storage is a vital ecosystem service, resulting from interactions of ecological processes. Soil carbon sequestration is a process in which CO2 is removed from the atmosphere and stored in the soil carbon pool. This process is primarily mediated by plants through photosynthesis, with carbon stored in the form of SOC. Understory ferns alter soil carbon chemistry and increase carbon storage during reforestation.

A 2019 study published by forest services USDA shows that the accumulation of newly-formed SOM outweighed decomposition of old SOM, with the majority of this increase being derived from fern detrital inputs. Where ferns were present, ferns contributed 54–61% of total soil C storage in surface (0–10 cm depth) soils, which was 62–91% higher than pre-reforestation soil C storage.

What’s growing ? Let us share what we have been growing at the farm this year Roselle , Roselle calyces have been used since ancient times as a natural dye, medicinal aid, and culinary ingredient. classified as Hibiscus sabdariffa, is a descriptor primarily used for the edible red calyces of a tropical shrub . Roselle plant has been used since ancient times as a natural dye, medicinal aid, and culinary ingredient.
Roselle is believed by experts to be native to India and Malaysia, growing wild since ancient times. It has a sweet, subtly tangy flavor and tender texture well suited for both raw and cooked preparations. Roselle is a good source of anthocyanins, the colored pigments found within the calyces that provide antioxidant-like properties. It is also are a source of vitamin C to strengthen the immune system, calcium to protect bones and teeth, iron to develop the protein hemoglobin to transport oxygen in the bloodstream. Roselle is ingested as a natural diuretic and is steeped into teas to soothe sore throats and coughs.
