Olive oil label ✔️
Protein powder ✔️
Kids’ cereal ✔️
Milk carton ✔️

Dog food?
…never really checked.

It’s strange when you think about it.

We care deeply about what goes into our bodies.
We read, compare, question.

But when it comes to their bowl,
we just trust the front of the packet.

We recently turned it around.

And found things we didn’t expect:
BHA / BHT
Corn or soy as “protein”
“Meat & bone meal”

Not saying what’s right or wrong.
Just something worth being aware of.

Next time you buy dog food,
take a second and read the label.

Working closely with dogs every day,
you start noticing the small things.

What they eat.
What goes into their bowl.
What we don’t usually question.

And somewhere along the way,
we found ourselves asking this:

When did we last check what’s actually inside their food?

Not the brand.
The ingredients.

Because something that lasts months on a shelf
has a story behind it.

We’re exploring that next.
