We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the group of young individuals from Bangalore for their prompt and selfless assistance in rescuing a severely injured canine that was struck by a vehicle. Their swift action in transporting the dog to the Veterinary Clinic and subsequently to our shelter from Madikeri, Coorg, exemplifies a remarkable display of compassion and kindness.

GRAPHIC IMAGE!!! Today, 5/3/26, we successfully rescued an abandoned pet dog belonging to its previous owner from Madikeri, Coorg. The rescue operation required two attempts as the dog was not present at the initial location. Notably, the male dog is still wearing a neck collar from its previous owner, which has caused significant damage around its neck. We strongly advise individuals considering pet ownership to carefully weigh their responsibilities and refrain from abandoning pets if they are unable to provide a lifelong commitment. Love them, treat them like family.

Four puppies were found tied up in a sack and discarded by a local woman on the route between Golden Temple and Koppa. The act of abandoning animals is utterly reprehensible. Never abandon an animal.
