What happens when a surgery goes wrong… and no one steps in?

Meet Brownie.
A survivor of pain he never deserved.

What should have healed… turned into suffering.
A failed surgery left him with infection, a blocked sinus, and a painful growth.

But he didn’t give up.
And neither did we.

Our team stepped in, treated him, and gave him a second chance at comfort and care. His journey isn’t over — but he’s no longer alone.

There are many more Brownies out there, silently suffering.

Donate. Support. Be their voice.
Because no animal should suffer in silence.

The humane way to manage community dog populations is through consistent sterilisation and vaccination.

Karma Foundation, in association with Harit by HCL Foundation, is proud to be driving this effort through a mass sterilisation program.

Each dog is sterilised, vaccinated against rabies, microchipped, fitted with a reflective collar, cared for post-surgery, and released back to the same area once recovered.

If there are community dogs in your neighbourhood, book a slot online and bring them in.

It is time that sterilization in done in an accountable way -

*We have developed something exciting open for public viewing — a first-of-its-kind map that documents every animal sterilised through this drive, including the animal’s photo, exact location, sterilisation date, anti-rabies vaccination date, and microchip number.*

Stay tuned. A big step in transparency and public access is coming soon. 🐾

There’s a moment in rescue where the question changes.

Not “Can we save everything?”
But “What will give them dignity?”

Cheetha’s recovery is a reminder that compassion often means choosing what hurts less in the long run.

Help us keep choosing care, comfort, and courage—for every animal that comes through our doors.
