The KM VETS doctors attended an insightful veterinary clinical program organised by IDEXX at Donyi Polo yesterday.

The scientific session, led by Dr. Chirag, focused on kidney health, early detection of renal disease, SDMA interpretation and advanced diagnostic approaches in veterinary practice.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, exchange clinical experiences and connect with fellow veterinarians. At KM VETS, we remain committed to continuous learning and bringing advanced, evidence-based veterinary care to Arunachal Pradesh.

Thank you, IDEXX, for organising this valuable program.

🐱 CAT MOM AWARENESS | CKD

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is common in cats, especially as they grow older. Sadly, cats can hide kidney problems until the disease has already progressed.

Watch for signs like:
• Drinking more water
• Frequent urination
• Weight loss
• Poor appetite
• Vomiting
• Weakness or dullness
• Bad breath/dehydration

Early blood tests, urine tests and ultrasound can help detect kidney disease sooner and give us a better chance to manage it.

💙 For every cat mom: don’t wait for obvious symptoms. Routine kidney screening can make a difference.
