Being the only animal shelter/rehab in our region we are constantly under a lot of pressure to take in sick, injured, abandoned, disabled and old animals. We take in animals without demanding money for admissions, as most reporters come from poor backgrounds. But sadly, those who can donate also choose not to because people most think its not their responsibility to contribute and even after sending multiple reminders they wont donate even used items. We have asked reporters to donate atleast used blankets and newspapers, they dont even do that.

A lot of people assume we receive a lot of donations, but if we had sufficient funds I wouldn’t have begging people to donate daily. Our fundraising campaign is a proof that we barely get support.

About Us : Empathy Unlimited is a Registered Non Profit that works for the rescue and rehabilitation of distressed animals. We are currently running at a capacity of 200 plus animals at our 2 rehabs/shelters in Thakurli and Chirad, Khoni/Taloja Road. We majorly serve dogs and cats. But we also have 4 donkeys that have joined our family. We are now looking to expand our team and improve our daily operations.

Our Requirement : We are on the lookout for *compassionate animal lovers* that are looking to add value to the animal welfare community.

- Cleaning Staff and Caregivers - day/night shift and full time resident staff.
- Paravets
- Vet Assistants
- Accountants/Admin

Note
- We are happy have freshers who are willing to make a career in animal welfare
- Previous pet or any animal care experience is mandatory

Im begging and crying for help!
I am literally fed up of the constant harassment from the society committee. It is affecting my mental health. For the work we do, this amount of disrespect and false claims are extremely heartbreaking. I need a permanent solution for all these problems. Fighting back with them is pointless as they are capable of even coming to beat me up as they have done in the past with my family. My mother and sister were attacked by the society secretary in the past, I cannot trust these people. They supported the secretary and they are capable of attacking me any my family again. They got men from outside the last time to attack us late in the night. I am a single woman living alone. My life is in danger.
