⚠️ THIS IS NOT A NORMAL SITTING POSITION IN PUGS.
This posture is commonly seen in dogs struggling to breathe.
In flat-faced breeds like Pug, this may indicate BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) 🚨
Signs you should NEVER ignore:
▫️ Open-mouth breathing
▫️ Excessive panting
▫️ Loud breathing/snoring
▫️ Neck stretched forward
▫️ Sitting instead of lying comfortably
▫️ Exercise intolerance
Many owners think: “He always breathes like this.”
But chronic breathing difficulty is NOT normal. Early diagnosis and treatment can improve quality of life and prevent respiratory emergencies. 🩺
