NEW ARRIVAL
Sone of the very long standing members may remember this little pair Gerty and Berty who have been our birds for several years but sadly the lady who adopted them has lung cancer so they have had to be returned.
They are friendly handleable birds, but haven't been out in a while due to her illness so they wil have a bit of a refresher while staying with Courtney and her mum Victoria in foster.
They are still stepping up so I don’t expect any issues.
No rehoming applications at this time please thanks

This is Oogie
Apparently he’s got plans for this medicine syringe he’s running off with😂. He is our youngest Quaker, & the other 4 are paired off, & exclude him. They’re very much more interested in each other, & not us humans… but Oogie is very human bonded. We’re working on recall training with him, & harness training to come hopefully! He loves coming around on a shoulder

NEW ARRIVAL
Please form an orderly queue to say hi to the new kid on the block Simon!
he is a male 33 year old sulphur crested cockatoo, he was found in Asheboro a couple of weeks ago out on his own and has been very kindly looked after by the Vets until I fetched him today.
We don’t believe Simon will be claimed but as always we would love him to be reunited so he will stay here while we get to know him and adverts will stay up.
He seems friendly and is allowing head tickles , he has been speaking today, and in some of the pictures he is a bit wet as he’s just had a nice warm shower on arrival and had his nails done for which he sat quietly in a towel drying without too much objection notscrewing toes up or anything like trying to escape.
He will have a bigger cage, I've just used one we had ready for now.

NEW ARRIVAL
Meet Taz, a four year old tame conure who has come in to find a new home.
Taz used to go to the adults in his previous family but took a liking to the teenage son and then wasn’t interested in the others. This sadly meant he was spending too much time in his cage and they wanted him to be happy not feeling it was the case.
We will be assessing him over the next month to build up a picture of what we think will be his ideal home.
He’s got off to a good start shoulder surfing us.
No enquiries about homing Taz at the moment please until he is assessed and sees our vet thanks
He is being fostered by Louise
