🌞 Summer is here!

As temperatures rise, it's important to help keep our pets cool and comfortable.

A few simple precautions can prevent heatstroke and painful burns:

🐾 Walk your dog during the cooler parts of the day. (if you really have to)
💧 Ensure fresh drinking water is always available.
🌳 Provide shade whenever your pet is outdoors.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked car—even for a few minutes.
🐕 Test the pavement with the back of your hand. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for their paws.

⚠️ Signs of heatstroke include:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Weakness or collapse
• Vomiting
• Bright red gums

If you think your pet is suffering from heatstroke, contact your vet immediately.
