🎃👻 Keep Halloween spooky, not scary, for your furry friends! 🐾🧡

A few simple steps can help keep your pets safe this spooky season:
🐶 Keep chocolate and sweets out of paw’s reach 🍫
🎃 Keep candles and decorations away from curious noses
🐾 Make sure your pet has a safe, quiet space away from trick-or-treaters
🦴 Keep costumes comfortable and never force your pet to wear one
🚪 Keep doors secure to prevent any Halloween escape artists!

Let’s make sure Halloween is full of treats, tail wags and happy paws — not tricks! 🐕🐈🧡

🐾💙 Happy Vet Nurse Day 2026! 💙🐾

Today, we celebrate the dedicated veterinary nurses who care for animals with compassion, skill and kindness every single day.

Vet nurses play a vital role in animal healthcare. From comforting nervous patients and assisting with examinations and surgery to monitoring anaesthesia, providing nursing care and supporting recovery, they are there every step of the way. 🩺✨

They also educate and support pet owners, advocate for animal welfare and help ensure every patient receives the best possible care.

🌟 Behind every healthy, happy animal is a team that cares — and vet nurses are at the heart of that team.

Thank you to all the incredible vet nurses for your dedication, compassion and unwavering commitment to animals and their families. 💙🐾

❤️ 30 YEARS OF TRACY! ❤️

Today we celebrate someone truly special at Treaty Veterinary Hospital — our wonderful Head Nurse, Tracy, who has been part of our family for an incredible 30 years! 🐾🎉

For three decades, Tracy has been one of the people who keeps this place running. Her knowledge, skill and dedication are second to none, and there seems to be nothing she can’t do! From caring for our patients to supporting the team and looking after our clients, Tracy does it all with such professionalism, kindness and heart.

So many of you will know Tracy — and we’re sure many of you have your own memories of her over the years. She has been a familiar, friendly face to generations of pets and their families, and her warmth and care have made such a lasting impression.

Thirty years is an incredible achievement, but what makes it even more special is the person behind those 30 years. Tracy, thank you for everything you have given to Treaty Veterinary Hospital, for everything you do every single day, and for being such a huge part of our team and our story. ❤️

We are incredibly lucky to have you. Here’s to 30 amazing years of Tracy — and hopefully many more to come! 🐶🐱🐾

🍂🐾 October is Pet Wellness Month! 🐾🍂

Our pets can’t always tell us when something isn’t quite right, which is why preventive care is so important. ❤️

Regular wellness checks, vaccinations, dental care and keeping an eye on changes in behaviour, appetite or weight can all help keep your furry friends healthy, happy and thriving. 🐶🐱

A little prevention today can make a big difference to their tomorrow. 🩺🐾

If your pet is due a check-up or you have any concerns, give us a call — we’re always happy to help.

🐶👂 FUN FACT: Dogs have around 100 different facial expressions — and most of them are made with their ears! 😂

Basically, their ears are doing all the talking. 🐾💬
Who needs words when you’ve got floppy ears? 🥹❤️
