It’s been a little quieter around here lately, but there’s plenty happening behind the scenes at Wag & Walk! 🐾

After taking a little time away from my usual routine, I’m really looking forward to getting back out with the dogs this week.

The diary is filling up with walks, pet sitting and training sessions, and I’m excited for what’s ahead!

I’m also delighted to be working alongside Woof Trails Boarding Kennels, where I’ll be offering regular dog training sessions. It’s something I’m really looking forward to developing, and I’ll be sharing more details over the coming weeks.

For now, I’m just looking forward to seeing all those familiar faces again, both two-legged and four-legged!

🎄 CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS ARE NOW OPEN 🎄

I know, I know… it’s still August! 😂 But Christmas is always one of the busiest times of the year for pet care, so I’m opening my festive diary early this year.

If you already know you’ll need pet sitting, home visits or dog walks over the Christmas and New Year period, now is the perfect time to get your dates in.

Opening the diary early means I can get everything organised well in advance and, most importantly, hopefully avoid disappointing anyone when the busy dates fill up.

🐾 Additional Dog Walking Spaces Available in Kilkenny City 🐾

Due to increased demand, I've opened up a limited number of additional spaces for dog walks and home check-ins in Kilkenny City on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Services available include:

🐶 One-to-one walks – perfect for dogs who prefer individual attention or a quieter outing.

🐾 Small group walks – ideal for social dogs who enjoy exploring and making canine friends in carefully matched groups.

🏡 Home check-ins – great for puppies, older dogs, or dogs who simply need a toilet break, fresh water, enrichment, and some company while you're away.

Every service includes:
✨ Collection and drop-off (where applicable)
✨ Updates and photos for owners
✨ Enrichment-focused care tailored to your dog's needs
✨ Fully insured and reliable professional service

As these are additional spaces, availability is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

I’m so excited to share that I’m now offering training and behaviour support in Wexford 🐾

As a force-free trainer, my focus is always on helping dogs and their owners feel safe, supported and understood through kind, practical training tailored to real life.

Sessions can take place:
🐾 In your home
🐾 Or in a dedicated training space just outside Enniscorthy

I work with dogs and owners on everything from:
• lead walking
• reactivity
• confidence building
• settling in the home
• recall
• general training and behaviour support

I’m an accredited dog trainer with the IAABC and have a huge passion for modern, dog-centred training methods that prioritise both the dog and the human behind the lead.

I’ll continue working across Kilkenny and Carlow too, but I’m genuinely excited to start building connections in Wexford as well 💛

A little update… 🐾

Over the next couple of months, I’ll be setting up a secure indoor and outdoor space just outside Graignamanagh where I’ll be offering structured daycare, training, scent work and mantrailing.

It’s something I’ve been working towards for a while, and I’m really excited to create a calm, enriching space for dogs who don’t always suit busy or chaotic daycare environments.

Before I officially launch in June, I’d love to know…
