Today's vet visit.

🩶🤍 Fable has gained back the weight he'd lost a couple of weeks ago, he's staying on the same dose of steroids. It was decided not to give him his vaccination booster today, but he did have another lot of vitamin B12.

🖤 Kismet had her booster and showed off her walking. About 4 years ago she lost her ability to climb, even the smallest step caused problems. X-rays showed her hip joints hadn't formed properly and one of her knees slipped out of place. For two years she had monthly jabs to help with her pain, it's now been over two years since the last one. 😻

🧡🤍 JB had a general check up and weigh in. Two years ago he weighed 8.8 kg, he's now 5.5kg and to quote Uncle Pete "the perfect specimen of a cat"

🧡 Eds had his teeth and gums checked. When he was 8 months old we were told it was likely that he'd need a full extraction. He turns 5 next week, and so far he's only needed a couple of steroid jabs during bad flare ups.

Last night both Kismet and Fable decided to do their own versions of that famous scene 🤮

🖤 Kismet filled up on biscuits and waited until we were just going to sleep, thankfully Deputy Zoo Keeper managed to pop on her on the floor in time!

🩶🤍 Fable's was a surprise when we went to say good night. It involved stripping his bed completely, waterproof sheet and both mattress protectors, and two igloos, and cleaning his floor. He also gets a 'bonus point' for managing projectiles from both ends 💩.

Both seem fine today, luckily we have an appointment with Uncle Pete tomorrow for their boosters, so they'll get a good check over then.

Yeah, we don't get that in the Zoo, Tara made off with two french beans before Deputy Zoo Keeper even realised he'd dropped them!

And to add insult to injury, she took them onto his side of the bed to munch them 😹

Diana, Sox and Sam are getting the indoor kitties cast offs. 😹
The old rabbit hutch they have in the garage now has a rather active wasp nest in it, so once they've all gone we'll get rid of the hutch and add more cat trees, hidey holes and snuggly beds for the Garage Gang 😻
