Gorgeous Rover is a 4 year old Lab x Collie.
He came into the rescue when his elderly owner could no longer care for him.
He is a total sweetheart and very friendly.
The dog savvy children in his foster home walk him on his lead and he is the best boy.
He prefers female dogs , and is yet to be cat tested.
Rover would make a wonderful family pet/companion.
He is crate trained, and has had all his vet work carried out, including his rabies vaccination.

UPDATE, GUS'S FOSTER FAMILY HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE AND ARE ADOPTING HIM!
Little Gus was found as a stray in Kenmare this week.
He is now in foster with Miranda Louise and family, and is settling in just fine!🥰.
A rescue is only as good as its fosterers, and we are so lucky to have such great support!
A special mention must go to Deborah, who has been just amazing this weekend getting so many kittens reserved for their new homes.

One of our leading ladies, Kitty McNally had a hip replacement operation yesterday.
All went well and she was out of bed, briefly, this morning! You can't keep a good woman down!
We send Kitty all our love and wish her a speedy recovery.🙏😘

Sadly no applications for our little kittens😪.
They would make fabulous family pets, or would be equally happy as barn cats, with food and shelter.
Vaccinated and wormed, and with a subsidised neutering plan in place!
Apply online at www.kenmareanimalrescue .ie or dm the page.

Liking and sharing will help the kittens find their forever homes!

Here at Kenmare Animal Rescue we look after all sorts of dogs in need.
The beautiful Jessy came into us on Thursday. She was left behind after her owner passed away and a lovely lady was feeding and checking on her.
She is now in foster care with one of our experienced fosterers.
Jessy had a vet check and is in quite good health except for bad arthritis in her back legs.
She is very shook up after a complete change in circumstances after 12 years in one home.
She is warm and safe now getting lots of cuddles and fuss!
We will give her all the time she needs to relax and feel better, if she needs to stay in our care forever that will be ok too!🥰
If you would like to donate to help us care for Jessy, you can do so on www.buymeacoffee.com/kenmareanimalrescue
Every little helps!🙏
