On Cloud Canine

22/07/2026

Hi everyone!

Just writing a quick post to give some updates for On Cloud Canine🐶

Due to several groomers closing in the area there has been a massive amount of enquiries for taking on new clients. I will be trying my best to get as many people in but my regular dogs will come first.
There have been hundreds of messages and phone calls over the last month which is amazing but I’m also only one person and may not be able to fit everyone in sadly😓
If everyone can please give me a few weeks notice of when their dogs need grooming and get their next groom booked in before leaving so you’re not waiting on me to respond next time! (I’m so sorry for delayed messages!)😅
And if possible please send messages through WhatsApp or text message. There are too many voicemails and new numbers to call back by the time I sit down in the evening so it’s a lot easier to keep everything in WhatsApp or text message😄

‼️NO SHOWS/24HR CANCELLATIONS/LATE DROP OFF AND COLLECTION‼️

This has become a big big problem over the last few months. It’s very upsetting when there are so many dogs waiting to be groomed and I’m unable to get someone to fill the spot last minute😓
I will be setting fees for any late drop offs and collections, no shows and last minute cancellations.
I do understand that emergencies happen but when it’s happening so often it’s not fair on me or clients waiting for spaces.

I also don’t have the facilities to keep dogs for longer than their allocated time unfortunately. I have stayed hours over time minding dogs that are waiting to be collected. I have sheep and horses to mind and my own dogs to walk when I’m finished work so it can be a very late night for me when I can’t leave the grooming room😅

Lastly I will be increasing prices a bit for certain breeds🐶 I’ve had the same prices since opening On Cloud Canine 5 years ago😅 All my grooming products, blade sharpening, electricity, etc. has gone up a lot in that time so I need to try keep up with them all🙈

Thank you everyone for the continued support! I can’t believe how busy my little room has gotten in the last couple years🐶
I hate writing long posts like this but I wouldn’t be able to tell everyone in person😆

Hi everyone!

I’m off on holidays this week but I will get back to everyone over the next few days. I know it’s gotten very hot and I will try my best to fit you all in soon☀️

I will be making a post soon explaining new policies and a change in certain prices also. Due to several groomers closing in the area there has been a massive jump in messages and calls. Priority will be given to existing clients and there might be a wait for spaces.

I will not be taking on any new large long haired breeds (Newfoundlands, Bernese mt dogs, Irish wolfhounds, Golden retrievers, etc.) and I’m no longer grooming cats sadly.

Thank you all for your patience!🐶

Hi everyone!

Just writing a quick post to let you know that I am almost fully booked for Christmas!🎄🎅🏻
I only have spaces for small and medium short hair washes and drys left🐶

For anyone that has booked a space for December.. please remember that I will be overrun with dogs in the grooming room and will not be able to mind dogs longer than the time I’ve given for collection. I will be charging late fees for any late collections so please stay within the area and don’t sneak off for last minute Christmas shopping!🙈🎁

Thanks everyone!❤️🎅🏻

It’s been too long since I posted!

A lot has happened in the last few months, happy and sad, so I’ve not had a minute to think about keeping up the Instagram posts🐶🤍
Said I’d share a little photo of me and Gypsy from a couple weeks ago in the sun to hopefully get the ball rolling again!💛

I’d also like to thank everyone who has messaged over the last few months to check up on me and my family after the loss of my dad🤍 I really do have the most amazing people (and dogs!) around me. I appreciate every one of you❤️

Hi everyone,

It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know of the passing of my very special dad🤍

Dad absolutely adored his dogs and would always visit me in the grooming room to introduce himself to whatever lovely pup was in❤️
He was a great man for chatting and would often stand in front of the grooming room window for ages talking and telling stories to clients while I struggled to settle the dog that’s staring at its owner out the window doing backflips trying to get off the table to get out to them!

Dad was the favourite for any dogs staying for holidays. We’d fight over who got to cuddle the dog when we sat down for the evening and he won pretty much every time.. probably had something to do with the bits of ham he would bribe them with🙈

This is the hardest post I’ve ever had to write but I wanted to let everyone know as so many of you have met dad over the years and got to enjoy his stories, his cheeky humour and some were even lucky enough to bring home his famous homemade bread and jam, which dad won Ireland bread baking champion for in 2022❤️

I’ve received so many lovely messages from you all and I just wanted to say thank you. We are going to miss dad so much, especially our dogs Benny, Jess and Lily. He used to tell us they broke the mould when they made him and he was 100% right. There will never be another one like him and we are so lucky to call him our dad🤍

I will reply to all messages next week. For now On Cloud Canine is closed so I can spend time with my family in this difficult time🤍 Again I want to thank everyone for all the kind messages. We appreciate it so much.

Rest in peace Dad, we love you so much❤️
