Friday
☕ Arrive in Westport around 11:00am for tea, coffee, and pastries.
🐎 Head to the stables for a 12:30pm mountain ride along the slopes of Croagh Patrick – the perfect opportunity to get to know your horse before the beach rides.
🏇 After returning to the hotel to freshen up, we'll transfer to Ballinrobe Races. Enjoy an evening at the races with entry and transport included. Afterwards, choose to return to the hotel or be dropped into town for a few drinks with the group.
Saturday – Bertra Strand Beach Ride
🌊 Experience the magic of riding along Bertra Strand, visiting the Oyster Bays and sand dunes before enjoying exhilarating canters down the beach.
Riders will be split into ability groups, ensuring everyone gets the most from the experience.
🍽️ In the evening, we'll enjoy a delicious dinner together in a local pub.
Sunday – Carrownisky Beach Ride
🏖️ Our final adventure takes us to the spectacular Carrownisky Beach – one of the most breathtaking rides in Ireland.
Ride across three beautiful beaches with opportunities for longer, faster canters on the stunning white sands. By now, you'll be feeling confident and comfortable with your horse, making this the perfect finale to the weekend.
🍴 We'll finish with lunch before it's time to say goodbye.

Learn to Jump Week with a Twist in 🇮🇪
Have you ever wanted to learn to jump, or do you already have some experience and want to improve?
Do you want to visit Ireland and explore this fabulous country?
Well, we have the riding vacation for you!
At Global Riding Adventures, we don’t just create a riding vacation — we create a memory you will want to keep reliving.
We offer a 7-night riding vacation based around Dublin for part of the week, so you can explore the city and ride horses — how can you get better than that?
You will have small group jump lessons on schoolmaster horses that will give you the confidence to progress and feel a real sense of achievement. We will work up to jumping a full course of fences, finishing with an in-house competition.
For the second part of the week, you have 2 options:
Option 1 – Cross-country riding in the premier equestrian county of Tipperary, on schoolmaster horses that love to jump. We will build on the experience gained in Dublin to tackle XC-style jumps, giving you an exhilarating thrill and leaving you wanting more — all with great hospitality.

Option 2 – Explore the Wild Atlantic Way on horseback and gallop along the white sandy shores of White Strand Beach. The horses here thrive on beach gallops, giving you a true sense of freedom. You will stay on the west coast of Ireland, enjoying real Irish hospitality. If you love live music and a few whiskeys, this is the vacation for you!
