🎉🐴 It’s $5 Friday… and it’s Tori’s Birthday 🎂

If you’ve ever thought about helping the horses… today is the day to do it.

No gifts. No cake.
Just one simple birthday wish:

👉 Feed the horses. Care for the horses. Keep this going.

Every week we scrape together:
• ~$500 for feed
• ~$250 for staff

That’s before emergencies… before rescues… before the unexpected.

And yet- every single day- these horses are still here, still healing, still working, still safe because of Tori.

💛 So let’s make this birthday count.
If even a small fraction of you gave just $5 today, we could cover a huge part of this week’s costs.

$5 = feed for a horse
$10 = feed + care
$25 = real breathing room

No donation is too small. It all adds up.

🎁 Birthday goal: as many $5 donations as possible

If you’ve followed, liked, shared, or cared… this is your moment to be part of it.

Let’s turn a birthday into something that actually matters.

For the horses. Always. 🐴💛

Hello friends, it’s Odin the Heartseer 💛🐴

Today I want to tell you about my blind best friend, Atlas, and his favourite thing in the world: the beach.

Atlas can’t see the waves the way you do… but he feels them.
He listens to the ocean like it’s a story.
He follows the wind with his nose.
And when the sand is soft under his hooves, you can almost watch his whole body exhale.

Sometimes people think blindness means sadness.
But Atlas is proof that life can still be full of joy — especially when you’re safe, loved, and walking beside a friend who understands you.

If you ever needed a reminder to slow down and breathe, borrow one from Atlas today.
He’s out there, enjoying the sea… like he was born for it. 💛🌊🐴

Hello friends, it’s Odin the Heartseer 🐴💛

Today I’m standing in my new stall at the new Horses of Gili… and I just want to say: it feels safe. It smells like fresh wood and new beginnings. I can hear my herd nearby, and even though I can’t see, I can feel that this place is being built with love.

We’re so close to being fully finished - just a few final things left - and my humans are still working every day to get everyone moved in and comfortable.

If you’re able, please send a small donation to help us complete the last steps so all the horses and ponies can settle into their new home properly. Even a little bit makes a big difference. 💛

$5 Friday!!!

Help us out this week!

$5 FRIDAY - help us cover THIS WEEK’S essentials 💛🐴

We’re really broke right now, and low tourism means low donations… but the horses still have to eat and our local staff still have to be paid.

Weekly costs (approx USD):
• Feed (grass + rice bran): Rp 7,000,000 ≈ $415/week
• Staff salaries: Rp 4,000,000 ≈ $240/week
➡️ Total essentials: Rp 11,000,000 ≈ $655/week

Here’s why $5 matters:
At ~Rp 16,800 = $1, $5 ≈ Rp 84,000.
• If 84 people give $5, we cover a full week of feed.
• If 48 people give $5, we cover a full week of staff salaries.
• If 132 people give $5, we cover feed + salaries for the week.

If you’ve ever wondered if a small donation helps - this is the post.

Help Horses of Gili Rebuild After Losing Our Stables W… Tori Taylor needs your support for From Ruins to Hope: Help Horses of Gili Rebuild Their Home

28/12/2025

Hello friends, it’s Odin.

Things are busy and a little stressful around here while the humans work hard to move and rebuild our home. But even in the middle of all that, the important work doesn’t stop.

Today, my blind friend Atlas helped a local child meet a horse for the very first time — slowly, softly, and without fear. Even though horses are everywhere here, many children are scared of us, or don’t yet know how to be kind.

Atlas showed them that we are gentle.
That listening matters.
That kindness goes both ways.

This is why rebuilding matters.
So we can keep teaching, caring, and helping the next generation grow up with compassion.

If you can help the humans rebuild our home, we would be very grateful.

Merry Christmas, friends.
It’s me — Odin the Heartseer.

This Christmas looks a little different for all of us.
There are fewer walls, different sounds, and a lot of change in the air.

But there is still hay to nibble.
Still warm hands on my neck.
Still Atlas standing close enough that I can hear him breathe.

The humans are tired, but they keep showing up.
And that tells me everything I need to know.

So if your heart feels heavy today, come stand with us for a moment.
Listen to the quiet.
Feel the love that’s still here, even when things are uncertain.

From all of us — the horses who see with more than eyes —
Merry Christmas.
Thank you for being part of our herd. 💛🐴🎄

Hi friends, it’s me — Odin the Heartseer.

I’m still here.
Atlas is still here too, right beside me.
We’re grazing, listening to the world, and doing what blind horses do best — trusting the voices we know and the hands that care for us.

A lot of things are changing at right now.
I can feel it in the energy around the barn… or what used to be the barn.
There’s movement, different footsteps, new sounds, and a lot of very tired humans who still stop to scratch my neck just the way I like.

Change can feel scary — even for humans who can see.
But Atlas and I want you to know this: we are okay.
We are safe. We are loved. And we are not going anywhere.

The people here haven’t stopped showing up for us — not for a single day.
Food still comes. Care still comes. Kind voices still come.
That’s what matters most.

So if you’re worried, take a breath with us.
Listen. Trust. Stay close.

We’ve come through a lot together already…
and we’re still standing. 💛🐴

📢 Important Update: Horses of Gili Is Relocating One of Our Main Facilities

We have an important update to share with our community.
Due to an unexpected decision by the landowner, our main stable property—which includes 10 stalls, 4 runs, storage, staff housing, and our small vet clinic—must be vacated within the next 30 days.

This is a challenge, but not a crisis of care.
The horses remain safe, fed, and looked after.
We are already putting a relocation plan into motion.

Here is what’s happening next:

🐴 1. We are consolidating our operations across our remaining properties.

We currently have three other sites with existing paddocks, turnout areas, and 12 additional stalls.
We have already contacted the landowners to secure temporary permission to build or extend lightweight, movable shelters where needed.

🐴 2. Several local-owned horses will be returning home.

To reduce strain during the transition, a number of horses owned by local families will be going back to their original stables.
A few rescues have approved adoption placements as well.

🐴 3. No horse will be left without shelter, food, or care.

Our staff remain fully committed, and every horse currently with us—especially those in medical treatment—will continue receiving full care and supervision.

🐴 4. We will be restructuring our facility layout.

Our secondary property with 12 stalls will become the new “hub.”
Additional paddocks and rotation space will be activated to ensure every horse has safe housing.

🐴 5. We may need help.

This transition will involve building temporary stalls, moving equipment, repairing fencing, and transporting horses between properties.
If you would like to support the relocation effort—either financially or practically—we would be deeply grateful.

This change was unexpected, but the welfare of the horses remains our top priority, and we are confident in our plan moving forward.
We will keep everyone updated as we make progress.

Thank you for standing with us through every challenge.
Your support is the reason we can keep going.
