We’re out of money!

In the near future we will have:
-scheduled spay/neuter surgeries for 12 cats (720 GEL)
-payment of the cat apartment rent for May (800 GEL)
-payment of the cat apartment rent for June (800 GEL)

Right now, we need to raise 1,520 GEL to pay for the surgeries and cover the overdue rent. Another 800 GEL will be needed to pay the rent next week.

Our volunteers spent the entire weekend heroically battling viruses at the Cat Flat. 🫡🐾

After the quarantine, they carried out a massive deep clean: assembling a new shelf, getting rid of old scratching posts, washing every single bed, and soaking absolutely everything in bleach.
It was a huge amount of work — and they made it happen with incredible care and dedication.

Rules for community cat caretakers that help prevent chaos 🐾

1. Feed cats at the same time and in the same place every day
(this makes it much easier to catch them for sterilization or treatment)
2. Use bowls and remove leftover food after 20–30 minutes
3. Make sure fresh water is available year-round
4. Keep track of new cats
(photos + short notes help a lot)
5. Don’t “import” cats from other areas — focus on stabilizing your own territory
6. Try to sterilize all cats living in your yard

Tamara really needs your help 💔

This strong girl from Avlabari is Tamara — a true street queen, full of character and survival instincts. She was brought in for sterilization, but during surgery, a serious complication was discovered — unborn kittens that had died inside her uterus. This caused severe intoxication and damaged her liver. After this, she urgently needed medical care and hospitalization.

Since then, Tamara has been fighting for her life. She is currently in a clinic under constant supervision: hospitalization, IV fluids, medications, repeated blood tests, and ongoing monitoring. Her recovery is slow but stable — but her body is still very weak 💔

🐱 Once Tamara fully recovers, she will be looking for a safe and loving home. After everything she has been through, she truly deserves a calm life where she will finally be cared for and protected 🏡

🎯 Fundraising GOAL: 2000 ₾ (to cover upcoming treatment and hospitalization)

• 120 ₾ per day — cost of hospitalization
