It’s been a busy day on the road again today 🚙 visiting lots of lovely dogs in their own home.

Here’s the wonderful Diesel enjoying the sun on her face, relaxing in her bed after her clinical massage treatment.

At almost 16 years old, Diesel can get a little stiff and creaky at times and clinical massage helps to keep a spring in her step, allowing her to enjoy her walks and daily routines. Her owner has commented that ‘she’s absolutely buzzing for the whole week after clinical massage’.

If you’d like to discuss how clinical massage can help your dog’s comfort and mobility please get in contact.

**The Queen of side-eye 👀👑**

Meet Millie 💛

Beautiful Golden Retriever, giver of the BEST side-eye, biggest soppy cuddle monster… and absolutely no understanding of personal space 😂

Millie is an active girl and recently she developed some lameness in one of her front legs, so her owner brought her in for a clinical massage treatment.

I found soreness within her biceps muscle, which we were able to work on as part of her full-body treatment.

Millie’s contribution?

A little side-eye 👀 (I’ll pop another pic of her side-eye in the comments 🤭)
A lot of snoozing 😴
And absolutely NO intention of getting up when we’d finished.

So I just had to sit there a little longer with her sleepy face on my lap. Hardship, I know… 🥰

Now we’ll see how she responds and hopefully get this lovely girl back to moving comfortably again 💛🐾

A Jacob 🐏 sheepskin rug makes a beautiful decoration for your home.

Did you know it also provides fantastic camouflage for border terriers? 🤣🤭

This is wonderful Bilbo, caught deep in relaxation after yesterday’s clinical massage 🥰

Bilbo sadly suffered an FCE (fibrocartilaginous embolism) which means that getting about is quite a challenge for him. An FCE is a sudden spinal stroke - a tiny piece of cartilage blocks a blood vessel in the spinal cord, cuts off the blood supply and damages the nerves.

Regular clinical massage plays a vital part of his rehabilitation. It improves his comfort levels and targets his sore, tight muscles making sure he’s able to happily continue playing with his ball and running around the forest in his wheels 😊

Wow - it’s been a busy one today, at the vets and on my home visits. Filled with such wonderful dogs - new and regular visitors. Such a pleasure to be in the company of such wonderful souls 🥰

I’ve had my hands full today so have been a bit rubbish taking photos, but here’s a taster of the lovely faces I’ve worked with today.

Frankl - a regular visitor, clinical massage helps to keep him supple and comfortable.

Frankl is such a wonderful mix of personality….his lovely owner hit the nail on the head when she said he goes from ‘lazy to crazy’! 🤣 he can go from super relaxed to whirlwind in the blink of an eye 😅

Then there’s lovely Samson, a newbie to clinical massage. He was such a good boy for his first session and I can’t wait to find out he responds to clinical massage.

Meet Simba 🐾

Simba is a lovely 12-year-old Cocker Spaniel who has been coming to see me for clinical massage therapy to help manage back pain.

When he was first referred, his owners had noticed that he'd lost some of his sparkle. Rather than being the sociable, family-orientated boy they'd always known, he was choosing to spend more and more time asleep in his bed away from everyone else.

For Simba, that was completely out of character.

I'm delighted to say that, with treatment, his comfort has improved and so has his enjoyment of everyday life. He's now spending much more time with his family again, enjoying his walks, and is finding it much easier to get on and off the sofa.

One thing I often explain to owners is that my appointments aren't just about the clinical massage itself.

Every dog is different, so we also look at the little changes that can make a big difference at home. That might include advice on exercise, simple home adaptations, or lifestyle changes to help keep them comfortable and moving well.

Take Simba's stylish socks, for example! 🧦💛

These grippy socks help him stay steady on slippery floors, reducing the risk of slips that can strain muscles, aggravate arthritic joints, and knock a dog's confidence. Sometimes a small change like this can make everyday life much easier.

It's often the combination of treatment, sensible management and supportive home care that helps dogs continue doing the things they love.

Looking rather handsome in them too, don't you think? 🥰🐾
