📰 WE MADE THE PAPER! 📰

I still can’t quite believe it, but K9 Care by Clare has made the front page and been featured in the Worcester News! 🐾💜

What started as a way of finding purpose after losing my mum has grown into a business that I absolutely love. To see my story, my mum’s story, and my little dog walking and pet care business featured in the local paper is incredibly special.

Thank you to Worcester News for sharing my journey and to everyone who has supported K9 Care by Clare along the way.

A huge thank you to my wonderful clients for trusting me with your dogs, recommending my services and supporting my small business. This recognition belongs to all of us.

And of course, thank you to Nugget, my loyal sidekick, who has been by my side every step of the way 🐶❤️

From grief, to healing, to becoming an Animal Star Awards finalist and now appearing in the local paper… it’s been quite a journey.

☀️🐾 With the warmer weather on its way next week, I’m making sure the dogs in my care stay as safe and comfortable as possible 🐶💙

The van is booked in for an air-conditioning re-gas so it’s performing at its very best during the hotter days, and I’m also setting up a fresh water station onboard to help keep everyone cool and hydrated 🚐💦

To help avoid the peak heat, I’ll be offering:
🐾 Early morning walks
🐾 Late evening walks
🐾 Home pop-ins and comfort visits instead of walks where needed

Your dog’s health, safety and wellbeing will always be my absolute priority 🐶❤️

A little business update from K9 Care by Clare 🐾

As many of you know, my little business has grown incredibly quickly over the last few months through recommendations, trust and support from so many wonderful clients and their dogs 💜

As part of continuing to grow professionally, I am currently in the process of obtaining my official Home Boarding Licence through Worcestershire Regulatory Services.

Today my finalist certificate for the Animal Star Awards 2026 arrived in the post and I honestly still can’t quite believe it 🥹🐾💜

Thank you so much to The Animal Star Awards for this lovely surprise and for recognising K9 Care by Clare as a finalist for Dog Services Of The Year 2026.

This little business started from a love of animals, fresh air, healing and companionship following one of the hardest periods of my life after losing my mum ❤️

The first photo feels especially emotional for me because she would have been the very first person I ran to tell. I know she’d be incredibly proud.

And of course… none of this would be possible without my biggest supporter and sidekick, Nugget 🐶❤️
He’s been there through absolutely everything and has helped shape K9 Care by Clare into what it is today.

K9 Care by Clare has officially been selected as a FINALIST in the Animal Star Awards 2026 💜🐾

After only starting my business in January, this feels incredibly surreal and emotional for me. Following the loss of my mum last year, dogs have genuinely helped me heal and rebuild, so to now be recognised for doing something I truly love means more than I can put into words.

Thank you so much to every single person who has trusted me with their pets, supported my little business, recommended me, shared my posts, and believed in me along the way. It honestly means everything.

And of course… thank you to all my four-legged clients for keeping me muddy, busy, smiling, and very loved 🐾💜

A gentle wander around Bevere this week with little Mav, lots of sniffs and gentle exploring successfully completed, we found a gorilla statue in the gallery gardens which Mav found fascinating to tiptoe up to rather sheepishly ❤️😍🐾🐾
