🎉🐾 Happy 1st Birthday, little Mav! 🐾🎉

I first met Mav on 28th December, when I started his puppy pop-ins while his mum was at work. He was the tiniest little bundle of fluff, and it’s been such a pleasure watching him grow into the beautiful boy he is today. 🥹❤️

Mav is also a therapy dog, bringing comfort and happiness to others — such a special little helper! 🐶💙

Having a small part in his first year, through his puppy visits, walks and stays, has been so rewarding. Thank you to his mum for trusting me with her lovely boy.

Happy birthday, Mav, with lots of love from all of us at K9 Care by Clare! Here’s to plenty more adventures, cuddles and waggy tails! 🎂🐾❤️

🎉🐾 Happy 1st Birthday, baby Ralph! 🎂❤️

Since I first started walking and caring for Ralph on 6th February, I’ve had the pleasure of watching him grow—not just in size, but in personality too! It’s hard to believe that today, 1st October, he’s already a whole year old. 🥹🐶

He brings so much happiness whenever he joins us for walks or stays. Ella and Georgie absolutely adore him, and “Can we keep him?” has been said more than once! 😂❤️

Of course, Ralph has a wonderful, loving family of his own, and I’m so grateful they trust me to care for their special boy. Being his dog walker and boarder, and getting to play a little part in his life as he grows up, is such a privilege. 🐾

Have the happiest birthday, gorgeous boy! Looking forward to lots more walks, cuddles and adventures with you. 🥰🎈

🐾 An important reassurance for all K9 Care by Clare customers 🐾

Following reports of canine parvovirus cases in Worcester, I want to reassure you that K9 Care by Clare is taking every possible precaution to protect the dogs in my care.

As a licensed home-boarding and dog-walking business, strict hygiene and vaccination checks are already part of my normal routine. In response to the local cases, I am going above and beyond by:

✅ Checking up-to-date vaccination evidence before boarding, daycare, trials and meet-and-greets
✅ Not accepting dogs showing vomiting, diarrhoea, unusual tiredness or loss of appetite
✅ Using a disinfectant proven effective against canine parvovirus, at the correct dilution and contact time
✅ Thoroughly cleaning shared bowls, toys, leads, crates and boarding areas between dogs
✅ Disinfecting the dog-transport areas of my vehicle and taking extra care with footwear
✅ Closely monitoring every dog and maintaining clear isolation and veterinary-contact procedures
✅ Taking particular care with puppies and dogs whose vaccinations may have lapsed

Please help by letting me know immediately if your dog—or another dog in your household—becomes unwell. Do not bring an unwell dog to K9 Care; contact your vet by telephone first.

Parvovirus is serious, but careful vaccination checks, good communication and rigorous hygiene significantly reduce the risk. Your dogs’ health, safety and happiness will always be my highest priority.

Two rosettes, a whole lot of wagging tails, and one very proud dog crew! 🐕☀️

We had a brilliant afternoon at the Clifton Dog Show with some of my walkers and boarders, plus my old faithful resident dog, Nugget! 🐾

I only managed a few photos because I was far too busy holding dogs and keeping an eye on everyone! But we came home with two rosettes: our gorgeous show Cocker, Izzie, took third place in the puppy heat, and beautiful boy Nugget came third in Most Handsome Dog! 🏵️🏵️

Today was a full-on Fox Red Labrador walking day! 🦊🐾

We headed to our secure field to let off some steam, with plenty of zoomies and playtime for the Fox Red family. Then, because we’re still celebrating baby Ralph’s birthday this week, the rest of the gang joined the party at The Cob House for a birthday puppuccino treat! 🥳☕🐶

Lots of fun, happy faces and wagging tails all round! ❤️

Shower day for baby Nugget! 🛁🐾

My friend Chris rescued Nugget from Dogs Trust about a year ago. When he first arrived, his skin was in such a bad way and he had lost so much fur. Looking at him today, you’d hardly believe he’s the same dog. ❤️

Nugget has allergies, and over the past year I’ve given him medicated showers following his vet’s instructions. Thanks to Chris’s love and care, the right medication and those regular showers, his skin is now looking nearly perfect. He needs fewer showers these days, too!

He’s such an adorable boy and seems to know his showers help him. Today he’s smelling beautiful and feeling soft and fluffy. Just look how far you’ve come, baby Nugget! 🥰🐶

A birthday celebration for our baby Ralph! 🦊🐾🎉

Ralph turns one next week, so today he and two of his fox red mates celebrated in style. First, they had a good run around the secure field. Then we headed to The Elms at Abberley for a lovely dog friendly lunch. All three were so well behaved, even when the food arrived! 😇🍽️

Happy 1st birthday for next week, Ralph! It’s been wonderful watching you grow. I feel so lucky to be your dog walker and home boarder. ❤️

We absolutely love our new garden, patio and bar area! 😍

Our aim was to create somewhere that makes us feel as though we’re on holiday every day. As we stay at home running K9 Care by Clare while our clients enjoy their holidays, we wanted their dogs to feel like they were having a little holiday of their own too! 🐾☀️🍹

Aaron has completely understood our vision and brought it to life — the transformation is incredible, and the LED lighting around the bar finishes it off perfectly. We’re already enjoying the space so much, and the dogs certainly approve too!

Thank you, Aaron, for all your hard work. We genuinely couldn’t be happier with what you’ve created for us! ❤️
