Pets Place Worcester Park

Thank you all for your lovely comments, we really appreciate them.

In regards to Roger, Cleo and Billy they have all been lovingly rehomed and are thriving in their new environments already.

Cleo has been rehomed with a staff member and has company of a few other cats to keep her entertained (although they may have a hard time trying to get her to interact with them as we all know how laid back she was).

Roger and Billy have both been rehomed to The Dragon Shelter.
Roger now also has company of Benji a 2 year old Macaw of which they are building more of a bond each day and are NOT being kept for breeding purposes only for companionship.

Billy has also built a great bond with not just his new family but also his new neighbours too.

We had also rehomed all other animals in the shop before this decision was taken but appreciate everyone’s concerns for all our animals.

We are extremely happy with where they have all gone and look forward to seeing them again once they have all settled in soon.

Sorry we could not alert everyone to their departures but unfortunately we were not permitted to share any details any sooner than we did.

We would like to thank everyone that came down to the shop today to show their support, love and well wishes.

We are genuinely very touched by the support and comments that we have received. We never realised how much of a hub our lovely shop had become to everyone in the community.

Brendan, our founder of pets place sadly passed away yesterday after an extremely short illness, along with a downward trend in footfall and costs to independent shops we were unable to continue trading any further . He would have been extremely proud and humbled by the atmosphere that all our customers contributed towards today .
We’d like to thank all of our lovely customers for their support over the years and we will all miss being a part of Worcester park high street and will miss many faces and friendships we have built throughout the years!
