I haven't been able to walk these 2 girlie's the past few weeks because of the weather and them being a high risk breed, and I have really missed them! So, when their owners said they needed to go into the office and could I pop in and see them I was super excited! The welcome I got was something else (scroll down to see a reel when they do see me weekly and you'll be able to imagine what it was like! 😂). It was also nice to sit and chill with them, something I never get to see, especially the little Boston she never stops!

Send this to someone who needs to see a labrador eating an ice lolly! Poor Billy is needing to rest up at the moment. So, I decided to make some beef bone broth lollies and bring one with me on my pop in. I figured if a lab doesn't like it then probably no other dog will 😂. Safe to say he loved it and it was gone in 2 minutes!

This week has not been completely wasted (despite a lot of cancelled walks 😔) I have been catching up on some training and am very pleased to have completed a Dog Training Diploma with a distinction at 97%! I started it last year and had got stuck in a bit of a rut with it, but with the spare time I've had I became determined to finish it!
I'm by no means calling myself a dog trainer now but I will implement what I have learnt with the dogs that I walk.
It did make me realise with it being an unregulated industry how easy it is for someone to call themselves a dog trainer. It is so important when you are looking for someone you look at their qualifications, reviews and recommendations.
With the hot weather set to continue for a bit longer I may look at another course. I want to be the best dog walker/ pet sitter I can be for your beloved fur babies! 🐾

Ruairidh wondering why I'm sat with him in his garden and not out for a walk looking for ducks! It must be a very confusing time for our dogs. Looking at it positively it has been nice to actually just sit with them and get to know them away from the pack and in their own home. The cuddles (despite the heat) have been in abundance this week and it's so nice to feel their love! 🥰❤️ But please let's get to cooler temps again soon!
